Özet

Rapid population growth in our living space spreads the need for urban renewal and the city's social, economic, and physical improvement. Urban regeneration in the context of solving urban problems is an important tool, which contains a lot of different policies and procedures in our country as well as the rest of the world and has been widely discussed, monitored, and implemented. Urban regeneration can be summarized as a comprehensive vision plan which tries to provide a permanent solution to economic, physical, social, and environmental problems and as the realization of this plan. In this study, the physical condition before the urban regeneration projects in Ankara, Mamak district is mapped. Infrastructure maps in GIS environment are generated by 3D modelling which covers urban regeneration areas. (C) 2015 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
