İlkokul 1. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabı metinlerinin değerler eğitimi açısından incelenmesi

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilkokul 1. Sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında yer alan metinleri değerler eğitimi açısından incelemektir. Araştırmada doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. MEB tarafından basılan 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında ülke genelinde okutulan Türkçe ders kitabındaki tüm metinler incelenmiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan metinler, etkinlik türü ve işlenen değer bakımından analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada tespit edilen değerler, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının değerler eğitimi açısından belirlediği değerler çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiş olup, sıklıklarına göre; " dinleme, okuma, konuşma, yazma etkinliklerinde tespit edilen değerler" başlığı altında tablolarda belirtilmiştir. Türkçe ders kitabında yer alan dört temada yirmi metin bulunmaktadır. Metinlerin analizi sonucunda en çok üzerinde durulan değerin "sevgi" olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu değeri sırasıyla bilimsel değerler, vatanseverlik, milli değerler, çalışkanlık takip etmektedir. En az tespit edilen değerler ise; hoşgörü, adalet, özgüven, merhamet, empati olarak saptanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda çocukların değer kazanımında metinlerin önemine değinilmiş ve bu noktada metinlerin seçiminin özenle yapılmasının önemi üzerinde durulmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to examine the texts included in Grade 1 Turkish textbook of Elementary School in terms of values education. Document analysis method was used in the study. All the texts in Turkish Textbooks studied throughout the country during the 2017-2018 academic year, published by the Ministry of National Education, were examined. The texts used in the study were analysed in terms of activity type and value treated. The values determined in the study have been assessed within the framework of values specified by the Ministry of National Education in terms of values education and presented in the tables under the title of "values determined in listening, reading, speaking and writing activities" according to their frequency. There are twenty texts in four themes included in the Turkish textbook. As a result of the analysis of the texts, it was found that the most emphasized value was "love". Scientific values, patriotism, national values and diligence are followed respectively by these values. The least determined values are; tolerance, justice, self-confidence, compassion and empathy. As a result of the research, the importance of texts in the appreciation of children and the importance of making the selection of texts carefully were emphasized at this point. The minimum determined values were found to be tolerance, justice, self-confidence, compassion and empathy. As a result of the study, the importance of texts were emphasized in gaining value by children, and at this point, the importance of careful selection of texts were emphasized.
