AN IMPORTANT WORK OF OLD ANATOLIAN TURKISH: GULSEN-I HAYAT

There are two copies of Gulsen-i Hayat. Both are registered in Ahmet Rasih Izzet Koyunoglu City Museum and Library. The first copy is our work based on it and is registered with the 13652 archive number. In the copy, the full name of the work is Gulsen-i Hayat ve Merhem-i Memat. This name is written in red ink on the first page of the work, just above the bezel. The second copy of the work is titled Haza Kitabu Tuhfeti'l-Ebrar. This name is written in red ink just above the feeder. The work is registered with the archive number 12752. Gulsen-i Hayat is a book of sermon, advice and preaching. Because the intended population is the people, the expression is sincere and simple. In order to increase the influence of the mentioned words, examples are given from the Ayah, hadiths, and many of them are interspersed with the texts which are told among the people even today.
