Oğuz Atay'ın tutunamayanlar romanında yabancılaşma

Türk tarihinde modernleşme hareketleriyle birlikte daha sık gündeme gelen yabancılaşma kavramı insanlık tarihi kadar eski bir geçmişe sahiptir. Pek çok farklı alanda varlık göstermektedir. Yabancılaşma kavramı, felsefe, din, edebiyat ve sosyoloji gibi alanlarda önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Yapılan bu çalışmada Türk toplumunda yabancılaşma kavramının, Tutunamayanlar romanı üzerinden, yazıldığı dönemde nasıl ele alındığını ve Türk toplumunda modernleşme sürecinin yabancılaşma olgusu üzerindeki etkisi görülmeye çalışılacaktır. İlk olarak çeşitli boyutlarıyla sosyoloji literatüründe ve Türkiye'de yer alan yabancılaşma tartışmalarına yer verilmiş olup daha sonra Oğuz Atay'ın Tutunamayanlar romanı üzerinden o dönem toplumda kavramın nasıl yer aldığı incelenmiştir. Tutunamayanlar romanı zihinsel süreçlerle ilerleyen bir olay örgüsüne sahip olduğundan yazıldığı dönemin zihin yapısını görebilmek adına önem arz eden bir romandır. Yabancılaşma olgusunun Türk toplumunda yabancı olma hali ve yabancılaştırma süreciyle bağdaştığı görülmüştür. Roman karakterlerinin yaşadıkları hayatı anlamlandırma toplumdan uzaklaşmaları ve romanda aktarıldığı üzere, toplumsal kültüre devlet eliyle yapılan müdahaleler, topluma yabancılaşmalarına neden olmuştur. Çalışmada yabancılaşma kavramının analizi yanı sıra yazıldığı dönem Türk toplumunun da yabancılaşma durumu yer almaktadır.

The concept of alienation, which has come up more frequently with the modernization movements in Turkish history, has a history as old as human history. The concept of alienation has an important position in areas such as philosophy, religion, literature and sociology. In this study, the concept of alienation in Turkish society, how it was handled in the period when it was written and the effect of modernization process on alienation phenomenon in Turkish society will be tried to be seen. First place is given to various aspects of sociology, literature and discussion of alienation is located in Turkey then observed that the concept of how to get out in the community that era novel Tutunamayanlar Oğuz Atay's place. Since Tutunamayanlar novel has a plot that progresses through mental processes, it is an important novel in order to see the mind structure of the period in which it was written. The phenomenon of alienation was found to be compatible with alienation and alienation in Turkish society. The meaning of the life of the novel characters and their distinction from the society and as it is mentioned in the novel, the interventions made by the state to the social culture have led to their alienation from the society. In addition to the analysis of the concept of alienation, the alienation status of the Turkish society at the time of writing was also included in the study.
