Bir tasavvuf klasiği olarak Attar'ın Pendname adlı eseri ve Tuhfetü'l-İsmet şerhi

Feridüddin Attâr'ın Pendnâme'si, Osmanlı coğrafyasında uzun yıllar okunmuş ve yaygınlığını korumuş bir eserdir. Osmanlı şârihleri tarafından da birçok defa tercüme ve şerh edilmiştir. Bu şerh çalışmalarından biri olan İsmet Efendi'nin Tuhfetü'l-İsmet'i çalışmamızın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmamız bir giriş, üç bölüm ve eklerden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın içeriğinde birinci bölümde, Feridüddin Attâr'ın hayatı ve eserleri incelenmektedir. İkinci bölümde, Osmanlı'daki şerh geleneği ve Attâr'ın Pendnâme'sine yapılmış olan şerhler hakkında kısa bilgiler verilmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde İsmet Efendi'nin hayatı ve Tuhfetü'l-İsmet isimli şerhi ele alınarak, eserdeki bazı tasavvufi kavramlar incelenmiştir. Bu eserin tek nüshası Süleymaniye Kütp. Yazma Eserlerlerde bulunmaktadır. Son olarak ekler bölümünde eserin 3a'dan 36a varakları arası günümüz harflerine aktarımı yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmadaki amacımız Osmanlı'daki Pendnâme şerh geleneği incelemektir. Buradaki şerhlerin tasavvufi muhtevası, şerhlerin amaçları, etkileri, metotları bir bütün olarak incelenmiştir. Ayrıca literatürde kayıp olarak bilinen İsmet Efendi'nin şerhi de tarafımızca tespit edilmiş olup, incelenmiş, tahlil edilmiş ve ilim âleminin istifadesine sunulmuştur.

The Pandnâmah of Farid al-din Attar has been read in Ottoman region for many years. It has been translated and annotated many times by Ottoman commentators. This study investigates the commentaries written in the Ottoman era to the Pandnâmah of Farid al-din Attâr, one of the sufi poetrs of the 12th century, and the content of the commentary of Ismat Efendi's Pandnâmah named Tuhfa al-Ismet. The commentator enriched this work, which he had penned for beginners, with the annotations of couplets as well as intense grammatical information. The only copy of the work is in the Manuscripts section of the Suleymaniye Library. Our study consists of an introduction, three chapters and appendices. Brief information is given in the content of the study about the life of Farid al-din Attâr and the annotations made to Pandnâmah. Sufism concepts that we have identified in Tuhfa al-Ismet, which has Sufistic content, are divided into two, namely as concepts related to Sufi inner journey and moral concepts. In the Appendix section, certain parts are shared from the current copy and transcriptions of those parts of the aforementioned work between pages 3a and 36a in today's alphabet are presented. Our aim in this study is to examine eight Pandnâmah annotations as a whole and thus, to determine the aims, effects and methods of annotations as a whole. In addition, it aims to evaluate Tuhfa al-Ismet with this perspective.
