Defter Dergisi üzerine bir inceleme

Bu tez, 1987-2002 yılları arasında yayınlanan Defter dergisini merkeze almaktadır. Defter, Metis Yayınları'nın bünyesinde çıkan bir edebiyat, tarih, politika ve felsefe dergisidir. Toplam 45 sayı yayınlanmış olan dergide çeşitli disiplinlerden isimlerin çeşitli metinleri yer almaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikli olarak derginin içine doğduğu döneme, derginin oluşumuna ve amacına değinilmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde derginin konularına göre genel tasnifi yapılmıştır. Tasnif temelde "Edebiyat Dışı Konular" ve "Edebiyat" başlıkları altında ikiye ayrılmıştır. Bu iki başlığa eklenen alt başlıklarla tasnif tamamlanmıştır. Çalışmanın asıl unsuru olan ikinci bölümde ise edebiyat metinleri temalarına/konularına göre tasnif edilmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Kısa denebilecek yayın hayatına rağmen Defter dergisi hem telif hem de tercümeleriyle Türk fikir ve edebiyat dünyasında kendisine bir yer edinmeyi başarabilmiştir. Defter'de yayınlanan metinlerin daha sonra kitaplara geçerek kalıcı hâle gelmesi bunun ispatlarından biridir.

This thesis focuses on the Journal of Defter, which was published between 1987-2002. "Defter" is a journal published by Metis Publishing, covering the subjects of literature, history, politics and philosophy. A total of 45 issues published in the journal, and there are various texts of persons from various disciplines. In the study, first of all, the period in which the magazine was born, the formation and purpose of the magazine were mentioned. In the first part of the study, the general classification of the journal was made according to its subjects. The classification is basically divided into two title of "Non-Literary Subjects" and "Literature". The classification is completed with the sub-titles added to these two titles. In the second part, which is the main element of the study, literary texts are classified and evaluated according to their themes/subjects. Despite its short-term publication life, "Defter" has succeeded in taking a place in the Turkish intellectual and literary world with both copyrighted texts and translated texts. The fact that the texts published in the "Defter" were later published as a book and became permanent is one of the proofs of this.
