Aziz Yuhanna'nın vahiy kitabında adı geçen yedi kiliseler ve arkeolojik olarak geçmişten günümüze durumu

Yeni Ahit'in son kitabı olan Vahiy kitabı, Yeni Ahit kanonu içerisinde yer alan tek apokalips türü bir kitaptır ve dili Grekçe'dir. Yazarına dair net bir bilgi olmamakla birlikte yazarının Yuhanna olduğu düşünülmektedir. Yazılış tarihi ile ilgili de farklı görüşler vardır, ancak genel olarak M.S. I. yüzyılda yazıldığı kabul edilmektedir. Vahiy kitabı genel olarak Anadolu'daki yedi kiliseye gönderilen yedi mektup ve sembolik bir üslupla anlatılan kıyamet vizyonlarını içermektedir. ''Aziz Yuhanna'nın Vahiy Kitabında Adı Geçen Yedi Kiliseler Ve Arkeolojik Olarak Geçmişten Günümüze Durumu'' başlığını taşıyan bu tez, üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel konusunu, Vahiy kitabında geçmekte olan yedi kiliseye mektuplar ve bu yedi kilisenin arkeolojik olarak günümüzde ki durumu oluşturmaktadır. Öncelikle Hıristiyanlığın Anadolu'da yayılması, Pavlus'un seyahatleri ve yedi kilisenin geçmişte ve günümüzde durumu incelenmiştir. Ayrıca son kısımda turizm potansiyeli olarak yedi kilisenin etkisi araştırılmış ve vahiy kitabında sıkça üzerinde durulan yedi sayısı değerlendirilmiştir.

Revelation, the last book of the New Testament, is the only apakalips type book in the New Testament canon and its language is Greek. Although there is no clear information about his author, he is considered to be John the Apostle. There are different views on the date of writing, but in general it is accepted that it was written in the first century A.D. The book of Revelation generally includes seven letters sent to seven churches in Anatolia and visions of the apocalypse, which are described in a symbolic manner. This thesis called " The Seven Churches and Their Archaeological Situation from the Past to the Present in the Book of Revelation of St. John '' is composed of three chapters. The main subject of this study is the letters to the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation and the current archeological situation of these seven churches. First of all, the spread of Christianity in Anatolia, the travels of Paul and the situation of the seven churches in the past and present are examined. In the last part, the effect of seven churches as a tourism potential was investigated and the number of seven frequently mentioned in the book of revelation was evaluated.
