Restoran işletmelerinde gıda israfının önlenmesi ve ihtiyaç fazlası yemeğin değerlendirilmesine yönelik bir mobil uygulama modelinin geliştirilmesi:LUSE

Teknolojideki gelişmeler ve yenilikler insan hayatını değiştiren önemli bir toplumsal olgudur. Gerçekleşen yeniliklerin insanların yararına olması en önemli etkendir. Toplumun bu yenilikleri ve değişimleri kabul etmesi yaratılacak etkiyi kabul edilebilir kılmaktadır. Günümüzde insanlar teknolojiyi yaşamlarının odak noktasında tutup onunla adeta bütünleşmiştir. Bu yüzdendir ki mobil uygulamalar ve bu uygulamaların etkileri insanları da yaşamlarında etkisi altına almayı başarmaktadır. Gıda israfı, günümüzde artarak devam eden en büyük sorunlardan birisidir. Türkiye'de ya da dünyadaki diğer ülkelerde, gıda israfını azaltmaya yönelik çeşitli kuruluşlar faaliyet gösterse de sorunun tam olarak üstesinden gelinememiştir. Diğer taraftan Türkiye'nin bu konuda, dünyadaki diğer ülkelere göre teknolojik ve teorik açıdan geri kaldığı görünmektedir. Bu doğrultuda toplumun ciddi biçimde eğitilmesi ve gıda israfının hem kendilerine hem de ülke ekonomisine ne tür zararlar verdiğinin genel hatlarıyla insanlara kavratılması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı özellikle Türkiye'de gıda israfına dikkat çekmek ve engellenmesine katkıda bulunmaktır. Bu yüzden "Luse" adında bir mobil uygulama oluşturulmuş, restoranlarda ihtiyaç fazlası yemeğin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. İhtiyaç sahibi insanlara yenilebilir ihtiyaç fazlası yemeğin daha kolay ve ekonomik yollardan sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Oluşturulan bu program herhangi bir ücret ödemeden rahatlıkla mobil uygulama marketlerinden "Luse" ismi ile aranarak indirilip kullanılabilir. Bu uygulama, kullanıcılar tarafından 19 Ocak 2019 ile 23 Nisan 2019 tarihleri arasında 20 defa indirilmiştir. Kullanıcılardan olumlu yorumlar alınmış, geliştirmeler ya da yeni özelliklerin eklenebilmesi için alınan geri dönüşler ile eklentiler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulamanın işletmeler tarafından da tercih edilip kullanıyor olması, işe yararlığına en büyük ispat olmuştur. Yorumların olumlu ve gelen oyların yüksek düzeylerde yoğunlaşmış olması kullanıcıların büyük çoğunluğunun uygulamayı beğendiğinin de bir göstergesidir.

Development of Mobile Application for Food Waste Prevention and Surplus Food Redistribution in Restaurant Businesses Technological developments and innovations are an important social phenomenon that changes human life. The most important factor is the fact that innovations are in the interest of the people. Society's acceptance of these innovations and changes makes the effect to be acceptable. Nowadays, people keep technology at the focal point of their lives and they are integrated with it. Therefore, mobile applications and their effects are able to influence people in their lives. Food waste is one of the biggest problems that continue to increase. In Turkey or in other countries around the world, various organizations have some activities to reduce food waste could not fully overcome the problem also. On the other hands Turkey is lagging according to other countries in the world in terms of technological and theoretical. In this respect, it is necessary to educate the society seriously and to teach the people what kind of damages to both the economy and the country economy. The aim of this study is to contribute to and draw attention to the prevention of food wastage in Turkey. For this reason, a mobile application called Luse created and it was aimed to evaluate the surplus food in restaurants. It is aimed to provide the people who are needy with easier and economical ways to eat edible food. Created programme can easily be downloaded and used by calling under the name "Luse" from mobile application markets without paying any fee. This application has been downloaded between 19 January 2019 and 23 April 2019 about 20 times by users. Positive comments have been received from users and additions and additions have been made so that improvements or new features can be added. The fact that the application is preferred and used by the enterprises has been the biggest proof of its usefulness. The fact that the comments are positive and that the votes are concentrated at high levels is a sign that the majority of users like the application.
