Anne sütü alma süresi ile görsel ve işitsel uyarı potansiyelleri arasındaki ilişki

Bu çalışmada anne sütü alma süresi ile görme işitme yollarının maturasyonu arasındaki ilişki araştırıldı. Miadında, 2500-4500 g. arasında doğan, nörolojik ve fizik muayenesi normal olan 18 aylık 31 sağlıklı infant (19E,12K) çalışmaya alındı. İnfantlar farklı sürelerde anne sütü almışlardı. Vakalar 75 mg/kg/doz kloralhidrat oral verilerek uyutuldular. Sessiz ve karanlık bir odada flaş VEP ve BAEP testi uygulandı. BAEP ve VEP testlerinin latans ve amplitüd değerlerinin istatistiki analizi spearmean korelasyon testi ile yapıldı. Anne sütü alma süresi ile sol kulak ve sağ kulak BAEP testine ait I, II, III, IV, IV ve I-V IPL latansları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamadı (p>0,05). Anne sütü alma süresi ile sol göz ve sağ göz VEP testine ait Nl, P2, N2 dalga- latansları ve Nl-Pl amplitüdü arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamadı (p>0,05). Sonuç olarak anne sütü alma süresi ile uyarılmış potansiyeller olan BAEP ve VEP arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamadı.

İn this study the term relationship between the duration of breast feeding and the maturation of optic and auditory tractuses was investigated. 18 months old, 31 healthy infants (19 male, 12 female) included in this study were at term with 2500-4500 gr body weight and the neurological and physical examination of these infants were normal. They were fed by breast milk for different durations. The cases were sedatised by giving 75mg/kg chloralhydrate. The flash VEP and BAEP test were performed in a dark and slent room. The latency and amplitude valves obtained by BAEP and VEP test were statistically evaluated by spearmean correlation test. There were no significant correlation between the duration of breast feeding and the II,II,III,IV,V and I-V IPL latencies related with the BAEP test of right and left ears. There were no significant correlation between the duration of breast feeding and wave latencies of N1,P1,N2 and amplitudes of N -P related with VEP test of right and left eyes. As a result there were no significant correlation between the evoked potentials such as BAEP and VEP and the duration of breast feeding.
