KÜRESELLEŞME BAĞLAMINDA TEKNOLOJİNİN YENİLİK BOYUTUNUN İNCELENMESİ: KABİL (AFGANİSTAN) ÖRNEĞİ

Çalışmada, küreselleşme bağlamında teknolojinin yenilik boyutunun incelenmesi; Kabil (Afganistan) örneği üzerinde durulmuştur. Konu ile ilişkin önce literatür taraması yapıldıktan sonra örnek çalışma yapılarak bulgular elde edilmiştir. Çalışmanın saha çalışması Afganistan başkenti Kabil’de üretim/imalat ve ithalat/ihracat yapan, kamu ve özel firmalardan oluşan 154 yöneticiyle görüşülerek elde edilmiştir. Çalışmaya dahil olan işletmelerde küreselleşme bağlamında teknolojik yenilik yapılması sonucunda elde edilen başarı, büyüme ve maliyet azalışı (performans) faktörler arasında işletmelerde bir farklılık olup olmaması ve küreselleşme ile teknolojik yenilik ilişkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Küreselleşme bağlamında teknolojik yenilik boyutunun Kabil (Afganistan) üzerindeki etkisini incelemek üzere iki tür test uygulanmıştır. Afganistan’da küreselleşme ve küreselleşme ile ilişkin boyutlarının tam olarak algılayıp algılanmaması, teknolojik yenilikten elde edilen başarı, büyüme ve maliyetin azaltılmasına yönelik Fark Testleri (t-bağımsız örneklem testi, ANOVA) uygulanmıştır. Küreselleşme ile teknolojik yenilikler arasındaki ilişki ve etkileşim ise Korelasyon, Doğrusal ve Çoklu Regresyon analizlerinden yararlanmıştır. Ayrıca betimsel istatistik verileri de bu çalışmada yer almaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan işletmelerin teknolojik yenilik sonuncunda elde ettiği performans (başarı, büyüme ve maliyet azaltma) açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmede, teknolojik yenilik sonucunda elde edilen; başarı, büyüme ve maliyet değişimlerin işletmelerin sektörlerine göre değişmediği ve aynı düzeyde performans iyileşmesi olduğu saptanmıştır. Teknolojik yenilik ile küreselleşme arasında oldukça anlamlı bir ilişkinin bulunduğundan söz edilebilir. Teknolojik yenilikte bir birim değişimin küreselleşme üzerinde %72.1 oranda etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Teknolojinin gelişimi küreselleşmeyi oldukça hızlandırmıştır. Teknoloji geliştirmenin sağlanması bir işletme ve/veya ülkenin gelişimi için temel faktörler olarak adlandırılabilir. Ancak teknolojinin üretimi ve geliştirmesi, entelektüel sermaye ile doğrudan ilişkilidir.

In this study, the innovation dimension of technology in the context of globalization; the case of Kabul/Afghanistan is investigated. After reviewing the literature, a sample study was performed and the findings were obtained. The fieldwork of the study was completed with interviewing 154 managers from public and private enterprises engaged in production/manufacturing and import/export in Kabul, Afghanistan. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between globalization and technological innovation, whether there is a difference between the factors of success, growth and cost reduction (performance) obtained as a result of technological innovation in participating companies or not. Two types of tests were conducted to examine the impact of technological innovation on Kabul (Afghanistan). The Difference tests (Independent-sample t-Test and ANOVA test); used to examine whether there is clear understanding of the globalization and globalization dimensions’ perception and to find if any difference between enterprises regarding to their success, growth and cost reduction obtained from technological innovation. And the Correlation, Linear and Multilinear Regression tests used for analyzing the correlation and impact of technological innovation on globalization. Additionally, descriptive statistical data also were used. Participated enterprises were examined in terms of performance improvement (success, growth and cost reduction) that were obtained from technological innovation. In this assessment; success, growth and cost reduction do not change according to the sectors of enterprises. It can be said that there is a significant relationship between technological innovation and globalization. It is determined that one unit change in technological innovation has a 72.1% effect on globalization. Technological development has accelerated globalization considerably. The provision of technological development can be called the main factors for the development of a business/country. However, the production and development of technology is directly related to intellectual capital.
