Özengen müzik eğitimi kurumlarındaki keman kursu programına ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri

Özengen müzik eğitimi veren kurumlar içerisinde özel müzik kursları önemli bir yer tutar. Her yaştan birey bu kurslar aracılığı ile müzik eğitimi alabilir. Bu kurslarda verilen müzik eğitiminin bir program dâhilinde yürütülmesi ve kullanılan programın işlevsel ve güncel bir öğretim programı olması eğitim yararlılığı açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı özengen müzik eğitimi kurumlarındaki keman kursu programına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Bu çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik (olgubilim) deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Ankara ve Konya illerindeki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na (MEB) bağlı özel müzik kurslarında keman eğitimi veren Ankara ilinden 11 Konya ilinden ise 13 olmak üzere toplam 24 keman öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre özengen müzik eğitimi veren kurumlarda MEB’in keman kursu programını çok az öğretmenin kullandığı, programın birçok öğretmen tarafından bilinmediği, bilenlerin ise bazı eksikliklerden dolayı programı kullanmadıkları, programın içerik olarak yeterli olmadığı ve her öğrencinin yaş, seviye, çalışma ve gelişim durumlarına göre programın düzenlenmesi gerektiği katılımcı görüşleri ile ifade edilmiştir. Programın Türkçe kaynaklar, öğrencilerin ilgi, istek ve beklentilerine uygun çalışmalar, kültürümüze uygun eserler ve eğitimde kullanılacak araç gereçler bakımından geliştirilmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin keman eğitimine yönelik çalgılarını doğru bir şekilde kullanma, şarkı çalma, sosyalleşme, okul törenlerinde ve orkestrada çalma, sertifika alma, mesleki hayata hazırlık gibi birçok beklentilerinin olduğu ve öğretmenlerin bu beklentileri karşılamaya yönelik çalışmalar yaptırdıkları tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular sonucunda öğretmenlerin eğitim planlarını öğrencilerin yaş, algı düzeyi, yetenek gibi birçok bireysel farklılıklarını dikkate alarak planladıkları, verdikleri eğitimlerde bilgi ve birikimlerini bir program gibi kullanmayı tercih ettikleri görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin çoğunun MEB’in keman kursu programını kullanmaması veya bazı öğretmenlerin teknik çalışmalar için programı kısmen kullanıyor olması geliştirilmiş bir keman kursu programına ihtiyaç olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu çalışma sonuçlarının özengen müzik eğitimine, özengen keman eğitimine, keman-çalgı öğretim programlarının gelişimine, MEB’e bağlı özel müzik kurslarında keman eğitimi verenve programı ilk defa kullanacak olan öğretmenlere katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. İlgili kurum ve kuruluşlar tarafından işbirlikçi bir ortamda özengen keman eğitimindeki ihtiyaçlar araştırılarak, ihtiyaca uygun güncel programların hazırlanması ve MEB’in keman kursu programından her eğitimcinin haberdar olması için kurumlarda yöneticiler tarafından bilgilendirme toplantıları düzenlenmesi önerilebilir.

Amateur music courses have an important place among the institutions that provide amateur music education. Individuals of all ages can receive music education through these courses. It is important that the music education given in these courses is carried out within a programme and that the programme used is a functional and up-to-date curriculum in terms of educational usefulness. The aim of this study is to examine teachers' opinions about the violin course programme in amateur music education institutions. This study was designed in phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research methods. The data were collected with a semi-structured interview form. The study group of the research consisted of a total of 24 violin teachers, 11 from Ankara and 13 from Konya, who provide violin education in private music courses affiliated to the Ministry of National Education (MEB) in Ankara and Konya provinces. According to the findings obtained from the study, it was stated that very few teachers use the violin course programme of the Ministry of National Education in institutions providing amateur music education, that the programme is not known by many teachers, and those who know it do not use it due to some deficiencies, that the programme is not sufficient in terms of content and that the programme should be arranged according to the age, level, study and developmental status of each student. It was concluded that the programme should be improved in terms of Turkish resources, studies suitable for students' interests, wishes and expectations, works suitable for our culture and tools to be used in education. It has been determined that students have many expectations for violin education such as using their instruments correctly, playing songs, socialising, playing in school ceremonies and orchestra, getting a certificate, preparing for professional life, and teachers have studies to meet these expectations. As a result of the findings obtained from the study, it was seen that teachers plan their education plans by taking into account many individual differences of students such as age, perception level and ability, and that they prefer to use their knowledge and experience as a programme in the trainings they give. The fact that most of the teachers do not use MEB’s violin course programme or that some teachers use the programme partially for technical studies shows that there is a need for an improved violin course programme. It is thought that the results of this research will contribute to private music education, amateur violin education, the development of violin-instrument teaching programmes, and the teachers who teach violin in amateur music courses affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and who will use the programme for the first time. It can be suggested that the relevant institutions and organisations should research the needs in the amateur violin education in a collaborative environment, prepare up-to-date programmes in accordance with the needs, and organise informative meetings by the administrators in the institutions so that every educator is aware of the violin course programme of the Ministry of National Education.
