Özet

XIX. and XX. centuries were the ages that religion as a theme was examined multidimensionaly. Multidimensional definitions of religion were made in terms of philosophy, psychology, sociology and phenomenology in the periods in which religion was being search in a multi-pronged way. In the surveys, sacred was indicated as the source of religion. Thus, the concept of sacred was dealt with the concept of religion. The phenomenology of religion concerning from the conceptual frame of phenomenology by defining it as a manifestation of sacred concept, it perceived sacred as a historical phenomenon. In this study, from this point of religion concept, the sacred will be examined in terms of phenomenology and the sacred time and spaces will be evaluated beginning from the pagan cultures and to the Judaism, Christianity and Islam that were emerged from the Abraham tradition.
