Özel eğitim alanında çalışan öğretmenlerin yardımcı teknolojilere yönelik tutumlarının ve bireysel yenilikçilik düzeylerinin incelenmesi

Bu araştırmanın amacı "Özel eğitim alanında çalışan öğretmenlerin yardımcı teknolojilere yönelik tutumları ve bireysel yenilikçilik düzeylerini belirlemektir. Bu araştırma tarama modelinde bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye sınırları içerisindeki özel eğitim kurumlarında çalışmakta olan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise amaçlı örnekleme yoluyla belirlenmiş 550 özel eğitim öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verilerinin elde edilmesinde öğretmenlerin demografik bilgileri "Öğretmen Bilgi Formu" ile toplanmıştır. Özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin yardımcı teknolojilere yönelik tutumlarına dair veriler "Yardımcı Teknolojilere Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği" ile toplanmıştır. Özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin bireysel yenilikçilik düzeylerine ait veriler "Bireysel Yenilikçilik Ölçeği" ile toplanmıştır. Veriler araştırma da ele alınan problem durumlarına göre, betimsel ve ilişkisel istatistiksel tekniklerinden yararlanılarak bilgisayar programı yardımı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin yardımcı teknolojilere yönelik tutumlarının yüksek olduğu, yüzde birinin gelenekçi, yüzde on altısının kuşkucu, yüzde otuz altısının sorgulayıcı, yüzde otuz yedisinin öncü ve yüzde onunun ise yenilikçi kategorisinde yer aldığı görülmüştür. Özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin bireysel yenilikçilik düzeyleri ile yardımcı teknolojilere yönelik tutumları arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.

The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of teachers working in the field of special education towards assistive technologies and their individual innovation levels. This research is a research model. The universe of the study consisted of teachers who work in the private educational institutions in the territory of Turkey. The sample consisted of 550 special education teachers determined through purposeful sampling. The demographic data of the teachers were collected by the "Teacher Information Form" toobtain research data. The data on the attitudes of the special education teachers towards the assistive Technologies were collected by the "Attitude Scalefor Assistive Technologies." The data on personal innovativeness levels of special education teachers were collected by the "Personal Innovativeness Scale." The data were evaluated with the help of a computer program by benefiting descriptive and relational statistical techniques according to the problem situtations discussed in the research. According to the results of the study, it has been seen that special education teachers have high attitudes towards assistive technologies, one percent traditionalist, sixteen percent skeptical, thirty-six percent interrogator, thirty-seven percentpioneer and ten percent innovative category. It has been seen that there is a positively medium significant relationship between the personal innovativeness levels of special education teachers and their attitudes towards assistive technologies.
