Kur'an-ı Kerim'e göre sağlam bir toplum yapısı oluşturmada Şehadet kavramı

Kur'an-ı Kerim'de geniş anlam çerçevesine sahip olan pek çok kelime ve kavram mevcuttur. Ancak bu kelimelerin pek çoğu zaman içerisinde anlam daralmasına uğramış ve belli başlı anlamları ifade etmek üzere kullanılmıştır. Şehadet kavramı da bu kavramlardan biridir. Kur'an-ı Kerim'de şehadet lafzının "hazır bulunmak, görmek, bilmek, bildiğini haber vermek, kesin bilgi, kat'î haber" gibi sözlük anlamları ile birlikte "Kur'an-ı Kerim, Peygamber, hüküm veren kimse, denetçi, tanık" gibi anlamları vardır. Bu anlamlardan biri de "örnek olmak"tır. Allah Teâlâ Hz. Peygamber'e ve İslam Ümmetine dengeli, adaletli, ahlaklı, hayırlı ve şahid olmayı emretmiştir. Bakara 143. ve Hac 78. âyetlerde yer alan şahid olma vazifesi "örnek olma" mânasındadır. Bu nedenle İslam Toplumu her zaman ve her durumda diğer insanlara söz, fiil ve davranışlarıyla İslam dînini uygulama, iyi bir toplum olma noktasında örnek olmalıdır.

There are a lot of words and concepts that have wide meaning frame in Holy Qur'an. However in the time most of these words' meanings decreased and they were used to express some specific meanings. The concept of "witnessing" is one of these concepts. In Holy Qur'an the concept of witnessing is used to express it's dictionary meanings like "to present oneself, to see, to know, to inform, accurate information, certain news". Besides these dictionary meanings this word has some other meanings like "Holy Qur'an, Prophet, judge, inspector, witness". At the same time one of these meanings is "to be example". Allah ordered Prophet Muhammed and Islam Society to be poised, fair, ethical, beneficial and witness. The responsibility of witness that is located in 143. verse of Surat al-Baqara and 78. verse of Surat al-Hadj means "to be example". Therefore in everytime and everywhere Islam Society should be example in their words, their acts and their behavior in respect of paractice of İslam and to be a good society.
