Oryantalist Jacqueline Chabbi'nin Kur'an'ı anlama yöntemi

Bu çalışmada, halen hayatta olan Fransız oryantalist Jacqueline Chabbi'nin hayatı, eserleri, düşünce yapısı ve Kur'an'ı anlama yöntemi incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızın amacı Chabbi'nin Kur'an'ı anlama yöntemi ışığında Kur'an'ın derin ve evrensel mesajına yönelik yaklaşımlarını ortaya koyup Kur'an'ın doğru anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunmaktır. Bu bağlamda Chabbi'nin yöntemini daha iyi anlayabilmek için genel olarak oryantalizmden ve özellikle Fransız oryantalizminden ve Chabbi'nin etkilendiği oryantalistlerden bahsetme gereği duyulmuştur. Çalışmamızda Chabbi'nin kaleme aldığı eserlerinden, ders kayıt videolarından, sosyal bilimlerin sunduğu antropoloji, filoloji ve tarih bilimlerinin verilerinden, fıkıh usulü, tefsir usulü ve ilk dönem tefsir ve sözlükbilim çalışmalarından istifade edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak Chabbi'nin antropoloji ve filoloji bilimlerini mezcederek Kur'an'a karşı tarihselci bir yaklaşımı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bulgulara göre Chabbi'nin kendi yöntemi içerisinde farklı tutumlara sahip olduğu görülmüştür.

This study analyzes the life, work, thought structures and ways of understanding the Quran of the French orientalist Jacqueline Chabbi. The aim of this study is to contribute to the proper understanding of the Quran by revealing Chabbi's approaches to the profound and universal message of the Qur'an thanks to her method of understanding it. In order to understand better the method of Chabbi, it is needed to evoke orientalism as a whole and French orientalism particularly, as well as the orientalists who influenced Chabbi. In our study, we used Chabbi's writings, lecture videos, data from anthropology, philology and historical sciences offered by the social sciences, al-fiqh procedure, al tafsir, the first studies of tafsir and its lexicography. It has been determined that Chabbi has a historicist approach to the Qur'an by combining the anthropology and philology sciences. According to the results, Chabbi has been shown to have different approaches within her method.
