Ruhun mahiyetine dair Sırrı Giridî'nin düşüncesi

Osmanlı Devletinin son zamanlarında ruh meselesi Batılı bilim adamları tarafından tartışılmakta idi. Onlar daha ziyade ruhsal olaylar üzerinden ruh meselesini değerlendiriyorlardı. Onlar ruhun mahiyetinin bilinemese de ruhsal olayların mevcudiyetinin inkâr edilemeyeceğini savunuyorlardı. Bu nedenle de bilinenden hareket ederek meseleyi anlamaya çalışıyorlardı. Bu çalışmada Osmanlı Devletinin son dönem ilmî şahsiyetlerinden biri olan Sırrı Giridî'nin ruhun mahiyetine dair görüşleri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Sırrı Giridî, geleneğe bağlı kalarak ruhun kendisini ele almayı tercih etmektedir.

In the last period of the Ottoman Empire the spirit issue was being discussed by the Western scientists. They rather were considering the matter over spiritual events. They would argue that the nature of the soul can not be unknown, but the presence of spiritual events can not be denied. Therefore, they were trying to figure out the issue by moving from the known. This study focuses on Sırrı Giridî's opinion about the nature of the soul. He is one of the scientific personalitities in the last period of the Ottoman Empire's. Sırrı Giridî prefers to comment of the spirit itself adhering to tradition.
