Hıristiyan kaynaklarına göre İsa, Roma'nın bir eyaleti olan Filistin bölgesinde dünyaya gelmiş, gençliğini ve tebliğ hayatını bu bölgede geçirmiş ve en sonunda da bu bölgede çarmıha gerilmiştir. Ayrıca havariler ve ilk Hıristiyan cemaat bu bölgede ortaya çıkmış ve ilk faaliyetlerini bu bölgede yürütmüştür. Haliyle Filistin bölgesi Hıristiyanlığın doğduğu ve geliştiği bölge durumundadır. Hıristiyanlık bugünkü haline gelebilmesi için birçok merhalelerden ve sıkıntılardan geçmiştir. Özellikle Hıristiyanlığın oluşumunda ilk üç yüzyıl çok önemli bir yere sahiptir. Hıristiyan kaynaklarına göre İsa, Yahudiler ve Romalılar tarafından çeşitli eziyetlere maruz kalmıştır. İsa'nın dünyadan ayrılmasının ardından M.S. 313'teki Milan Fermanı'na kadar havariler ve ilk Hıristiyan cemaatleri, Roma İmparatorlarının emriyle çeşitli eziyetlere ve işkencelere maruz kalarak şehit edilmişlerdir. Hıristiyanlar, ilk üç yüzyıl bütün bu sıkıntılara göğüs gererek Hıristiyanlığı tüm dünyaya yaymışlardır. İsa'nın ve ilk dönem Hıristiyan cemaatlerin maruz kaldığı bu eziyetler, Hıristiyan doktrinin, sakramentlerinin ve ibadetlerinin oluşmasında etkili olmuştur.n this study, the persecutions inflicted on Jesus and Christians during the Roman Period and the effects of these persecutions on the Christianity religion were examined. According to Christian sources, Jesus was born in Palestine, a province of Rome, spent his youth and preaching life in this region and was eventually crucified in this region. In addition, the apostles and the first Christian congregation emerged in this region and carried out their first activities in this region. Consequently, the Palestine region is the region where Christianity was born and developed. Christianity has gone through many stages and difficulties in order to become what it is today. Especially in the formation of the Christianity, the first three hundred years have a very important place. According to Christian sources, Jesus was subjected to various persecution by the Jews and Romans. After the departure of Jesus from the world, until the Edict of Milan in 313 AD, the apostles and the first Christian communities were martyred by being subjected to various persecution and torture by the orders of the Roman Emperors. Christians endured all these difficulties in the first three hundred years and spread the Christianity all over the world.
