The study was conducted to analyze the contributions of some existing counting jingles compiled in the plays uttered by the children in different parts of Turkey on the basis of preschool teachers' views. The research had two stages: In the first step, more than 100 counting jingles belonging to different districts in Turkey were compiled by 120 preschool teachers by interview (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd.
