Bu yüzden toplumların aile ile ilgili problemlerde tarihsel arka planda önem arz etmektedir. Çünkü aile, toplumlarda korunmuş, toplumsal değişim süreçlerinde en az etkilenen kurum olmuştur. Bu ailenin dayandığı toplumsal yapılardan olan din ve gelenekten etkilenmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Bugün aile ile ilgili sorunlarımızı daha iyi tespit edip, çözüm üretmek için tarihi alt yapımız olan Osmanlı toplumunu anlamak, değerlendirmek gerekmektedir. Ayrıca günümüzde Osmanlı ailesi ile ilgili öne sürülen fikirlerin din ve gelenekle bağlantısı ve tarihi arka planının tespit edilmesine ihtiyaç vardır. Bu çalışmada da Osmanlı'dan günümüze ulaşan yazılı belgelerden yola çıkılarak bu alanda yapılmış çalışmalara katkı sağlamaya çalışılmıştır.The family is an institution that provides happiness, life satisfaction and social support to its members. However, depending on time and conditions, the healthy structure, satisfaction, functioning of the family and the support it provides to its members may lead to divorce. Divorce has been identified throughout history. Therefore, it is important in the historical background of societies in family-related problems. Because the family has been preserved in societies and has been the least affected institution in the processes of social change. This is due to the influence of religion and tradition, which are the social structures on which the family is based. In addition, there is a need to determine the historical background and the connection of the ideas put forward about the Ottoman family with religion and tradition today.
