Özellikle Mevlânâ'nın yaşadığı asırda, bünyesinde var olan zengin tarihi kültürün, İslam kültürü ile kaynaşması önemini daha da artırmış, devrin en mühim ilim, kültür ve tasavvuf merkezlerinden biri olmuştur. Mevlânâ'nın Türk kültürü ve düşünce hayatındaki etkin yerini, onu çağdaşlarıyla birlikte ve yaşadığı ortamın olaylarıyla ele alınırsa daha iyi anlaşılacağından, biz bu çalışmamızda VII/XIII. yüzyılda Konya'ya doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak ulaşmış tarîkatler, tasavvufî zümreler ve mutasavvıflardan bahsederek şehrin, tasavvuf kültürünü tanıtmaya çalışacağız.Some ancient cities carry different souls. The civilizations that these cities witnessed in the historical process are somehow reflected in those cities.Konya has always attracted attention in the past and now with its deep-rooted history and the scholars and the Sufis it contains. Especially, the mixture of the rich historical culture that existed within Mevlana's century with Islamic culture increased the importance of the city and became one of the most important science, culture and mysticism centers of the period.
