PGCTs consist of osteoclastic, pleomorphic and mixed variants. PGCT is usually diagnosed at an advanced stage. PGCT has a worse prognosis than pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Although surgery can be curative, there is no standard treatment approach for advanced PGCT.
