Birinci bölümde tarihsel süreçte ‎şeyhlik kurumunun serüveni irdelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda özellikle merkezileşme ‎politikaları sonucunda şeyhlerin üstlenmiş oldukları yeni roller irdelenmiştir. ‎İkinci bölümde araştırma evreni hakkında genel bilgilere yer verilirken üçüncü ‎bölümde ise şeyhlik kurumunun günümüzdeki etkileri belirlenen temalar ‎çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ana omurgasını oluşturan üçüncü ‎bölümdeki verilere farklı yaş ve statüdeki 50 katılımcı ile yapılan derinlemesine ‎mülakatlar aracılığıyla ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler çerçevesinde şeyhlik ‎kurumunun sosyal ve dini pratikler üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırma ‎sonucunda, geçmiş ile kıyasladığında etkileri azalmış olmakla birlikte şeyhlik ‎kurumunun sosyal ve dini pratiklerin şekillenmesinde etkileri olduğu sonucuna ‎ulaşılmıştır.This study is a field study that examines the effects of the sheikh's institution on ‎‎social and religious practices, in the sample of Siirt.‎‏ ‏In the first chapter, the ‎adventure of the institution of the sheik has been examined in the historical ‎process. In this context, the new roles that the sheikhs undertook, in particular as ‎a result of centralization policies, were examined. In the second part, general ‎information about the research area is given. In the third chapter, the effects of ‎the sheikh's institution at today are discussed within the framework of themes. ‎The datas in the third section, which constitutes the main backbone of the study, ‎was reached through in-depth interviews with 50 participants of different age ‎and status. In the framework of the data obtained, the effects of the sheikh's ‎institution on social and religious practices were examined.
