Antik Yunan döneminde gerçeği anlatma olarak kullanılmıştır denilebilir. Dönemin ünlü siniklerinden Diyojen'in İskender'e "Gölge etme başka ihsan istemem." sözü sinizmi özetleyen bir durumdur. Anadolu'nun Türkleşmesi ve İslamlaşması döneminde görülen dervişlerin "Bir lokma bir hırka" anlayışı da bu açıdan benzerdir. Günümüzde ise örgüte karşı duyulan olumsuzluklar olarak kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Örgütsel değişim ve gelişimin önünde bir engel olarak görülen sinizm çalışanların örgüte bağlılıklarını dolayısıyla çalışanın ve örgütün başarısını olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Pozitif psikoloji ile ortaya çıkan pozitif psikolojik sermaye ise bireyin sahip olduğu olumlu özellikler bütünü olarak nitelendirilmektedir. Rekabetin arttığı günümüzde örgütler artık geleneksel sermayelerden çok çalışanların psikolojik sermayeleriyle öne çıkmaktadırlar. Bu noktada çalışanın psikolojik sermaye düzeyindeki artış örgütü de olumlu etkilemektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı örgütsel sinizm ile psikolojik sermaye arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Nicel araştırma olarak yürütülen bu araştırmada Mersin ilinde görev yapan öğretmenlerden önce tabakalı sonra tesadüfi örnekleme ile seçilen 389 öğretmene ulaşılmış ve kişisel bilgiler, örgütsel sinizm ölçeği, psikolojik sermaye ölçeğinin birleşiminden oluşan bir ölçekle veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda psikolojik sermaye ile örgütsel sinizm arasında negatif yönlü yüksek düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Psikolojik sermaye düzeyi arttıkça örgütsel sinizm düzeyinin düşeceği sonucuna varılmış bu doğrultuda çalışanlara verilecek destekle psikolojik sermaye düzeylerinin arttırılmasının örgüt açısından yararlı olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.Cynicism is a concept that comes to change meaning. It can be said that it was used as a telling of the truth during the Ancient Greek period. Of the famous cynics of the period, Diogenes words to Iskender '' Stand out of my sunlıght'' is the case that summurizes the cynism. The dervishes seen in the period of Turkification and Islamization of Anatolia are similar in this respect. Nowadays, it has started to be used as negativity towards the organization. Cynicism, which is seen as an obstacle to organizational change and development, adversely affects employees' commitment to the organization and the success of employees and organizations. Positive psychological capital that emerged with positive psychology is characterized as the whole of the positive characteristics of the individual. At this point, the increase in the level of psychological capital of the employee also positively affects the organization. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between organizational cynicism and psychological capital. In this study, 389 teachers who were reached from the teachers working in Mersin province were selected first by stratified and then random sampling. And data were collected by a combination of personal information, organizational cynicism scale and psychological capital scale. As a result of the research, a significant negative correlation was found between psychological capital and organizational cynicism.
