In the first chapter, a summary of the literature related to the subject and the purpose of the thesis are given. In the second chapter, the basic concepts, definitions and theorems required for the study are expressed. In the third chapter, some approximation properties of Banach spaces that exist in the literature are given and the relationships between them are examined. Also in this chapter, some results existing in the literature that are based on p -compact sets are given. In the fourth chapter, the results given for p -compact sets in the third chapter are considered for (p, r) -compact sets.
