Within the possible competing cations, our probe gives a selective fluorescence-quenching response towards Hg(II) cation. The limit of detection was found as 169 nM. Time dependent-DFT calculation was also performed to understand the sensing mechanism.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessSensorHg(Ii) CationsSchiff BaseFluorescenceTd-DftFluorescence Turn-OffA New Indole Substituted Biphenyldiamine Derivative Schiff Base: A New Sensor Application for the Selective Detection of Hg(II) IonsArticle47129039082-s2.0-85120749050Q3WOS:000725537500005Q310.1134/S1070328421120071
