At this study, the relationship between physics laboratory applications based on deductive approach and critical thinking of physics pre service teach- ers was researched. So, relational model is a quantitative model was used for research. The researchs sample consists of 60 pre service teachers from Selçuk University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education Physics Department. Critical thinking skills of pre service teachers were measured with California Critical Thinking Skills Test. Achievements of physics pre service teachers in physics laboratory were measured with performance test was the type of grading scale. Analyses of relation were performed with X2 test for independence. According to results of analysis, there was a meaningful relation between achievements of physics pre service teachers in physics laboratory based on deductive approach and only systematicity sub dimension of critical thinking skills. But generally, there wasnt a meaningful relation between achievements of pre service teacher and critical thinking skills. Also while critical thinking skills of physics pre service teacher were medium level, truth- seeking skills of them were low level.
