2005 İlköğretim Programları Hakkında Öğretmen Görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilköğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin 2005 ilköğretim programlarına ilişkin görüşleri cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem, eğitim durumu ve görev yapılan okulun yerleşim birimi değişkenlerine göre incelemektir. Çalışma, Niğde il merkezinde bulunan toplam 12 ilköğretim okulunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya, random olarak seçilen, toplam 230 ilköğretim öğretmeni katılmış olup; araştırmada "tarama modeli" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacına dayalı olarak, yüzde, standart sapma, bağımsız gruplar ttesti, varyans (ANOVA) analizi, Kruskal Wallis-H, Tukey-HSD ve Mann Whitney-U testleri gibi istatistik test teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplamak için "2005 öğretim programlarını değerlendirme ölçeği" (Demir ve Fer, 2005) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadaki istatistik analizler SPSS 17.0 ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre, ilköğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin 2005 ilköğretim programlarına yönelik genel olarak "olumlu" görüşlere sahip oldukları saptanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin 2005 ilköğretim programlarına ilişkin görüşlerinin cinsiyete, mesleki kıdeme ve eğitim durumuna göre farklılaştığı, ancak görev yapılan okulun yerleşim yeri değişkenine göre farklılaşmadığı saptanmıştır

The purpose of this study was to analyse the views of elementary school teachers on 2005 elementary curriculum with respect to gender, occupational experience, educational level, and the settlement place of the school. The study was carried out in the city centre of Nigde province from 12 elementary schools. Totally 230 elementary school teachers randomly selected participated in the study. The "survey method" was adopted in the research. In accordance with the purpose of the study, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, ANOVA (variance), Kruskal Wallis-H, Tukey-HSD and Mann Whitney-U tests were employed in the study in order to examine the data obtained in terms of some variables (gender, occupational experience, educational level, and the settlement place of the school). "Assessment Scale of 2005 Curriculum" (Demir & Fer, 2005) was used in order to collect data for the study. For the statistical analyses SPSS 17.0 was used. According to findings of the study, it was seen that elementary school teachers participated in the study had positive views on 2005 elementary curriculum. It was also found out that teachers' views on 2005 elementary curriculum statistically differed in relation to gender, occupational seniority, and educational level, but there was no statistical difference for the views of teachers on 2005 elementary curriculum with respect to the settlement place of the school variable
