Çocuk edebiyatı ve eğitimi kapsamında Hamdullah Köseoğlu’nun eserlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Edebî eserler, okurların dünyasında anlam kazanan bir mahiyete sahiptir. Okurlar, kendi özelliklerinin ve tutumlarının oluşturduğu bir atmosfer içerisinde okuma tercihleri geliştirir. Bu tercihler; kişilerin ilgi alanlarına, yaş gruplarına, inanç ve alışkanlıklarına, değerlerine göre değişiklik gösterebilir. Edebî eserlerin birçok fonksiyonu vardır; ama bu fonksiyonların geçerli ve amacına hizmet eden bir hâlde olması için bazı ön şart ya da kabullerin var olduğunu göz önünde tutmak gerekir. Çocuk edebiyatı kapsamında, bu konu ele alındığında öncelikle çocuk edebiyatına dâhil olan eserlerin hitap ettiği yaş grubunun niteliklerini, özelliklerini gözetmesi gerekmektedir. Yine belirtilmelidir ki bir eserin edebî konuya açılması, onun fonksiyonelliğini yerine getirmesi için yeterli değildir. Çocuk kitapları; yazın, sunum aşamasındaki mühim kurallara riayet ettiği takdirde nitelikli bir hâl kazanır. Kahramanların seçimi, okurların kimler olduğu göz önünde bulundurularak yapılmalıdır. Eserdeki iletiler, eserlerin sunduğu değerler, çocuğa verilmek istenen mesajlar da çocuk edebiyatı açısından oldukça önemlidir. Mevzubahis çocuk olunca, onlara yönelik olan eserlerde dikkat ve hassasiyet en üst seviyede olmalıdır. Çocuğun; bilişsel, zihinsel, psikomotor beceri alanlarının göz önünde bulundurulması ve eserlerin buna göre oluşturulması önemlidir. Bu bakımdan gelişim dönemlerinin özelliklerinin farkına varılarak oluşturulan eserler, çocuğun birçok yönüyle gelişmesine katkı sağlar. Eserlerin oluşturulmasında yazarın olduğu kadar, kitapları sunuma hazırlayan yayınevlerine de büyük sorumluluk düşmektedir. Nitekim kitabı okuyucuya ulaştırmak bir ekip işidir. Bu noktada, sorumluluk alan kişilerin ayrı ayrı yerine getirmesi gereken görevler vardır. Kısacası çocuklara yönelik eserler yazılırken hem içerik hem de biçimsel özellikler açısından nitelikli eserler ortaya koymak için oldukça dikkat etmek gerekir. Bu bağlamda, araştırmada; Hamdullah Köseoğlu’nun eserleri, çocuk edebiyatı ve eğitimi kapsamında incelenmiştir. Çalışmada; çocuk ve çocuk edebiyatı tanımlanmış, uyulması gereken noktalar belirtilmiş, edebî türler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Türk edebiyatında, çocuğun yaşamdaki yerine ve çocuk edebiyatının geldiği noktaya değinilmiştir. Betimsel analiz yönteminin kullanıldığı çalışmada; Hamdullah Köseoğlu’nun 75 (yetmiş beş) farklı eseri, çocuk edebiyatı ilkeleri açısından incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre Hamdullah Köseoğlu’nun, çoğu eserini, insanî ve toplumsal değerler çerçevesinde şekillendirdiği görülmüştür. Bazı eserlerde ise dönem özellikleri ve şiddet olgusuna rastlanmıştır. Yazarın birçok eserinin çocuk dünyasına hitap ettiği söylenebilir. Kitapların iç ve dış yapıları üzerinde ise bazı yayınevlerinin dikkatli davranması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Literary works have a meaning that gains meaning in the world of readers. Readers develop reading preferences in an atmosphere created by their characteristics and attitudes. These preferences are; may vary according to people's interests, age groups, beliefs and habits, and values. Literary works have many functions; however, it is necessary to consider that there are some preconditions or assumptions for these functions to be valid and serve their purpose. Within the scope of children's literature, when this subject is considered, the works included in children's literature should consider the characteristics and characteristics of the age group addressed within the scope of children's literature. It should also be noted that opening a work to a literary subject is not enough for it to fulfill its functionality. Children's books; If the literature complies with the essential rules at the presentation stage, it becomes qualified. The selection of heroes should be made considering who the readers are. The messages in work, the values offered by the works, and the messages intended to be given to the child are also very important in children's literature. Regarding children, attention and sensitivity should be at the highest level in works aimed at them. It is essential to consider the child's cognitive, mental, and psychomotor skill areas and to create the works accordingly. In this respect, the works created by recognizing the characteristics of the developmental periods contribute to the development of the child in many ways. In the creation of the works, as well as the author, the publishers who prepare the books for presentation have a great responsibility. Delivering the book to the reader is a team effort. At this point, there are duties that each person taking responsibility has to fulfill individually. In short, while writing works for children, it is necessary to pay attention to producing quality works in terms of both content and stylistic features. In this context, in the research, Hamdullah Köseoğlu's works were examined within the scope of children's literature and education. In the study, children's and children's literature were defined, the following points were specified, and information was given about literary genres. In Turkish literature, the place of the child in life and the point of children's literature are mentioned. In the study using the descriptive analysis method, 75 (seventy-five) works of Hamdullah Köseoğlu were examined and interpreted in terms of children's literature principles. According to the results obtained from the study, it was seen that Hamdullah Köseoğlu shaped most of his works within the framework of human and social values. In some works, the characteristics of the period and the phenomenon of violence were encountered. It can be said that many of the author's works appeal to the world of children. It has been concluded that some publishers should act carefully on the internal and external structures of the books.
