| dc.description.abstract | Ataerkil yapının kadın profilinden yola çıkarak beden sorunsalına değindiğimiz çalışmada; toplumsal cinsiyet, bekâret, namus kavramları ve kavramlar arasındaki ilişki farklı kültürler bağlamında sorgulanarak, bedene sosyolojik bir perspektif sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Tez çalışmasını daha önceki çalışmalardan ayıran nokta; bekâret ve namus ilişkisini farklı kültüler perspektifinden çözümlemeye çalışarak modernleşme ve İslam dini bağlamında bu değerlerin gündelik yaşamdaki görünürlükleri üzerinde durmasıdır. Kadının biyolojik, fizyolojik, psikolojik ve sosyolojik konumları arasındaki çelişki durumları onun beden kıskacında pasifleşmesine ve patriarkal yapıyı beslemesine neden olmaktadır. Kadının sosyoekonomik konumu, aile içi rolü, erkekler ile olan ilişkisi ve bunlara bağlı oluşan sorunlarının tamamının temelinde kendi bedeni yatmaktadır. Namus sembolü olan bu bedenin muhafazası bağlamında önem kazanan bekâret ise kadının sosyal konumunu ve kabulü için en önemli faktör olmuştur. Kirlilik ve temizlik zemininde kadının denetimi ise erkek tarafından gerçekleştirilmektedir. Kadının namusu kendi bedenini koruması ile mümkünken, erkeğin namusu da kadınının bedeninden geçmektedir. İşte bu zihniyet ataerkil yapının namus algısını oluşturmakta ve ardında bir yığın kadın sorunu bırakmaktadır. Bekâret ve namusun, kadın bedenindeki ataerkil tezahürünü sunma amacını taşıdığımız tezde Yorumlayıcı Yaklaşım ve Sembolik Etkileşimci Kuram çalışmanın temelini oluştururken, sosyal bilimlerin holistik yönü, antropoloji, sosyal psikoloji, felsefe gibi bilim dallarından da yararlanmayı gerektirmiştir. Tezin sahası yabancı ve Türkiyeli kültür gruplarıyla yapılan görüşmelere dayanmış ve yabancı kültürler açısından Türkiye’de namusun bekâret ile olan yakın ilişkisinin tespitiyle sonuçlanmıştır. Yabancı uyruklu bireylerin Türk toplumundaki namus ve bekâret algısı üzerinden kadını tanımladığı çalışmada, namusun Türk toplumundaki önemi, kadın üzerindeki baskının artırmasına ve kadının toplumsal görünmezliğine neden olduğu yönünde hâkim görüşe ulaşılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Based on the patriarchal structure of female profile highlighting the problematic body in our study; social crime, vriginity, honor concepts and the relationship among the concepts questioned in the context of different cultures, it has been attempted to present a sociological perspective to the body. Something which distinguishes the thesis from the earlier studies; it is working to resolve virginity and honor relationship from the perspective of different cultures, in the context of modernization and Islam religion emphazises the visibility of these values in everyday life. The contradiction between the woman’s biological, physicological, psychological and sociological positions causes the inactivation in the clamp of body and feeding the patriarchal structure. The woman's socio-economic status, her role in the family, her relationship with men and in the basis of all the problems that happen as a result of these her own body lies. Becoming importance of virginity which is a symbol of honor in the context of the housing body is the most important factor for both woman's social position and social acceptance. About contamination and cleaning the woman's control is carried out by men. While the woman's honor is just possible by protecting her own body, the man's honor is also related with the woman's body. Well, this mentality constitues perception of honor of patriarchal structures and it leaves all the women's problems behind. While the interpretive approach and symbolic interactionist theory constitute the basis of our study in our thesis in which our aim is presentation patriarchal manifestation of the virginity and honor in the woman's body, holistic aspect of social science requires to benefit from other science fields like antropology,social physicology and philosophy. The scope of thesis based on interviews which made with foreign and local cultural groups and it is resulted that for foreign cultures the detection of close relationship with virginity and honor in Turkey. In the study which foreign people defined woman by means of honor and virginity perception in Turkish society;it is figured out the importance of honor in Turkish society, increase the pressure on women and the prevailing view in the direction caused the woman's social invisibility. | en_US |
