İlkokul görsel sanatlar dersinde değerler eğitiminin öğrenci çalışmalarına yansıması üzerine durum çalışması

Bu araştırmada öğrencilerin değerler eğitiminin görsel sanatlar dersinde öğrenci çalışmaları üzerine yansımasını gözlemlemek ve öğretmenlerin değerler eğitimi hakkındaki görüşlerini belirleyip bu doğrultuda değerler eğitiminin öğrencilere olan katkısını ortaya çıkarmak hedeflenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin yürütmüş olduğu derslerinde değerler eğitimine ne ölçüde yer verdiği, nasıl işlediği, öğrencilerin değerler eğitimini nasıl kavradıkları ve resim çalışmalarına nasıl yansıdığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Toplumların kültürlerinde meydana gelen ahlaki bozulmalar nedeni ile insanlar olumsuz davranışlar sergilemektedir. Bu sebeple insanlar arasında, birbirlerine saygı göstermeyen, adaletsiz nesiller yetişmektedir. Eğitim bünyesinde bu yıpranmanın önüne geçmek için belirli bir plan dahilinde, eğitim kurumlarında uygulanan eğitim öğretim programlarında değerler eğitimine yer verilerek, değerlerin çocuklara verilmesi ve alışkanlık haline dönüştürerek davranış kazandırılması amacı ile faaliyetler gerçekleştirilmektedir. Değerler eğitimi, çocukların kişilik eğitimini güçlendirmeyi, insanların benliğinde ve toplumda huzur ortamı sağlamayı, istenilen davranışları kazanan nesillerle de toplumun sahip olduğu değerleri bir sonraki nesle iletmeyi hedeflenmektedir. Bu araştırma, nitel bir araştırma olup, durum çalışması yapılıp, nitel veri toplama araçlarından yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri toplamda 157 öğrenci olmak üzere, ilkokul 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinden ve sınıf öğretmeni olan 13 öğretmenden elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada sekiz değer ele alınmıştır. Öğrenci çalışmaları içerik analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, okulda verilen değerler eğitiminin öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisinin oldukça önemli olduğu fakat okulda aldığı eğitimin yanı sıra değerler eğitiminin küçük yaşta ailede başladığı, çevre ve okul ortamında pekiştirildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu konuda değerler eğitiminde öğretmenin sadece ders içinde değil her an değerleri benimseyen iyi bir rol modeli olması gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to observe the reflections of values education on students at Visual Arts class and to determine the opinions of teachers about this issue and to reveal the contributions of values education to the students. It is tried to determine how much the teachers rank values education, how they carry it out, how the students comprehend it and how it is reflected on their works of art. People have been displaying negative behaviour because of the moral breakdowns in the culture of their societies. For this reason, unfair generations who do not respect to each other and who are deprive of empathy have been brought up among these people. In order to prevent the frazzle in education, with a certain plan, activities have been carried out with the aim of making the children get these values and turn them into a habit and gain them as behaviour by including the values education in the programmes of the educational institutions which have been implemented. Values education aims at strengthening the identity education of children, providing a peaceful atmosphere in the personality of the people and the society and carrying the values that the society has, to the next generations via the generations who gained the intended behaviour. This study is a qualitative research, in which the method of case study and semi-structured interview forms from the qualitative data collection tools were used. The data had been gathered from totally 157 second, third and fourth grade students who are at primary school and from 13 class teachers. Eight values had been handled in the research. In accordance with the data gathered, it is concluded that values education given at school has a significant impact on students; however besides the education they have at school, values education begins at home at an early age and it is reinforced in the society and the school environment. About this issue, it is concluded that the teacher has to be a good role model who adopts the values not only in the class but also at any moment.
