"İslam'da kadın" meselesine modernist yaklaşımlara sosyolojik bir bakış

Bu çalışma, özelde İslam’da kadınla ilgili, -şahitlik, mirastan pay alma, evlenme-boşanma, kocaya itaat, şiddet, çok karılılık, örtü ve fitne unsuru olma gibi- ihtilaflı bazı konuların modern yorumlamalarında kadının yeri ve statüsünü; genelde, dinin teşekkül ettiği Arap toplumunun kültürel yapısı ve bazı geleneksel dini söylemlerin etkisini, kurucu metinler ışığında ve sosyolojik bir zeminde tartışılmaya açmaktadır.

The first part of this study consists of modern (contemporary thoughts) interpretations of the place and position of women in Islam. In this context, the following issues are discussed: the witness of the woman, her share of the inheritance, the right to marry-divorce, obedience to her husband, violence against women, polygamy, being an element of mischief. The cultural structure of Arab society in which religion was born and the effect of some traditional discourses on the formation of the position and status of women were discussed in the second part. The study has both a theological and sociological quality in the light of the founding texts of Islam.
