Alman Oryantalistlerin Kur'an yorumları -Grimme, Geiger ve Horovitz örneği-

Bu tezde Alman oryantalistlerin Kur’an ayetlerine dair çalışmalarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde oryantalizmin tanımı/tarifi, Alman oryantalistleri ve çalışmaları, Almanca eserler ve Kur’an tercümeleri konu edilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise üç eser ele alınmıştır. Ele aldığımız eserler; Hubert Grimme’nin kaleme aldığı “Mohammed II: Einleitung in den Koran, System der koranischen Theologie/ Muhammed II: Kuran'a Giriş, Kuran Teolojisi Sistemi “, Abraham Geiger tarafından yazılan “ Was hat Mohammed aus dem Judenthume aufgenommen/ Muhammed Yahudilikten ne çıkardı “ ve son olarak da Josef Horovitz’in eseri olan “Koranische Untersuchungen/ Kur’an Araştırmaları ”dir. Bu bölümde yazarların biyografileri ve bu üç eserin incelemesi ele alınmıştır. Eserlerin Almanca olması hasebiyle, eserlerde geçen ayet açıklamalarını serbest tercüme üslubu ile tercüme ettik, daha sonra bu ayetleri bir kaç tefsirden inceleyerek birbirleri ile uyuşmayan ayet açıklamalarını ele aldık. Üçüncü bölümde ise Batıda mevcut olan İslam algısı konu edilmiş, bilhassa Almanya’da mevcut olan algı ve 11 Eylül olaylarının öncesi ve sonrası olarak bir incelemede bulunulmuştur. Ayrıca dini kavramların Batı tarafından yanlış algılanması ve insanlara öyle empoze edilmesi de ele alınmıştır.

In this thesis, it is aimed to examine the studies of the German orientalists on the verses of the Qur'an. Therefore, the research is limited to 3 works. The Works We Handled; "Mohammed II: Einleitung in den Koran, System der koranischen Theologie" by Hubert Grimme, "Was hat Mohammed aus dem Judenthume aufgenommen" by Abraham Geiger, and finally "Koranische Untersuchungen" by Josef Horovitz. This thesis consists of two parts. In the first chapter, the definition/description of orientalism, German orientalists and their studies, German works and Qur'an translations are mentioned. In the second part, the biographies of the authors of the three works mentioned above and the analysis of these three works are discussed. Due to the fact that the works are in German, the works also translated the verse explanations freely, and then looked at these verses from a few interpretations and discussed the verse explanations that did not match with each other. In the third chapter, the perception of Islam in the West is discussed, especially the perception in Germany and the situation before and after the September 11 events are examined. In addition, the wrong perception of religious concepts by the West and their imposition on people are also discussed.
