Bağlama mikrofonlama teknikleri ve kompressör kullanımının müzik teknolojileri eğitimine katkıları

19. yüzyıl itibariyle insan hayatına giren ses kayıt teknolojilerinin müzik alanında önemli bir yere sahip olduğu aşikârdır. Teknolojik gelişmeler; "fonotograf"tan günümüz kayıt sistemlerine uzanan kayıt serüveninde farklı araştırmalar ve yöntemlere de ışık tutmuştur. Dünyada pek çok profesyonel stüdyoda mikrofonlama tekniklerinden sinyal işlemcilere kadar birçok ekipmanın deney, gözlem ve analizleri yapılırken ülkemizde bu alandaki çalışmaların yeterli düzeyde olmadığı düşünülmektedir. Akademik çalışmalar bağlamında da müzik teknolojileri eğitimine geç başlayan ülkemizde, özellikle Türk müziği enstrümanları üzerindeki çalışmaların kısıtlı sayıda olduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türk halk müziği çalgılarından bağlamanın stüdyo ortamında doğru mikrofonlama teknikleri ve kompresör türü seçimleri araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada uzman görüşleri eşliğinde bilgi edinilmiş ve müzik teknolojileri eğitimine katkı sunmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, uzmanların aşina oldukları düşünülen bir türkü belirlenmiştir. Bu türküye, profesyonel stüdyo ortamında tambura bağlama ile mono ve stereo mikrofonlama teknikleri ayrı ayrı uygulanarak iki farklı ses kaydı oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen kayıtlardan bir tanesine kompresör türleri uygulanıp farklı kaydedilmiştir. Kayıtlar, profesyonel ses kayıt stüdyolarında görev yapan uzman tonmaysterlerden oluşan 20 kişilik örneklem grubuna kişisel görüşme yoluyla ayrı ayrı dinletilmiş ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu doğrultusunda sorular sorularak uzmanların görüşleri alınmıştır. Ayrıca bu görüşmeler esnasında veya sonrasında üniversitelerin ilgili bölümlerinde ders veren öğretim elemanları ile bu çalışmanın müzik teknolojileri eğitimine katkıları irdelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda en çok tercih edilen mono ve stereo mikrofonlama teknikleri ve kompresör türü belirlenmiştir. Uzmanların tercih sebeplerine yer verilip bağlama için aranan ton ve bağlama için uygun olan kompresör türü tespit edilmiştir.

it is obvious that the sound recording technologies that have entered human life by the 19th century have an important place in the field of music. Technological developments shed light on different researches and methods in the recording adventure from "phonotograph" to today's recording systems. Despite the fact that testing, observation and analysis of so many equipments beginning from miking techniques to signal processing have been done in many professional studios around the world, the studies in this field is not sufficient in our country. It is also considered that the studies especially about Turkish music instruments are not sufficient in our country which has started the education of music technologies late, in the content of academic studies. In this study, it has been studied that the correct miking techniques in the studio environment and compressor types for baglama which is one of the traditional Turkish Folk Music instruments. The data has been collected by expert opinions and it has been aimed to contribute to the education of music technologies. In accordance with this purpose a folk song that is thought to be familiar to most of the experts has been determined. Two differend sound recording have been composed to this folk song in a professional studio by practising both mono and stereo miking techniques individually and with tambura baglama. These records have been listened by personal interviews to a sample group made up of 20 professional tonmeisters that work in professional recording studios and opinions of these experts has been taken by asking questions with a semi-structured interview form. Besides, the contributions of this study to the education of music technologies have been examined by instructors that work in related departments of universities during the interviews or after than. In the direction of the findings, the most preferred mono and stereo miking techniques and compressor type have been determined. Moreover, the reasons for preference of the experts have been included as well as the searched tone for baglama and the proper compressor type for it.
