Kelam ilminde yenilik arayışları ve M. Şerefeddin Yaltkaya'nın İctimai Kelam Projesi

Bu tezde, ondokuzuncu ve yirminci yüzyılda başlayan kelamda yenilenme çalışmaları ve o çalışmalar içerisinde yer alan M. Şerefeddin Yaltkaya‟nın ictimai kelam projesi ele alınmıştır. Osmanlı Devleti, Mısır ve Hind alt kıtasında son iki asırda kelam ilminde yapılmaya çalışılan yenilik arayışları değerlendirilmiş, Yaltkaya‟nın İctimai Kelam projesinin bu yenilenme çalışmaları içerisindeki yeri izah edilmiştir. Yaltkaya‟nın ictimai kelam projesinin kelamda yenilik arayışları çerçevesinde ele alınabilmesi için birinci bölümde Kelamda yenilik hareketleri incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise, M. Şerefeddin Yaltkaya‟nın hayatı ve eserlerine dair bilgi verildikten sonra “İctimai Kelam Projesi” bütün yönleriyle ayrıntılı olarak açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Yetiştiği dönemin Yaltkaya üzerindeki etkileri, projeyi en çok dile getirdiği İslam Mecmuası kadrosunun özellikleri, dile getirdiği görüşlerin hayata geçmesi hususunda hem Osmanlı hem de Cumhuriyet dönemindeki çalışmalarından bahsedilmiştir. İctimai kelam projesine yönelik eleştiriler, özellikle kutsallığın kaynağını topluma dayandırıp dayandırmadığı, sistematik bir proje mi, yoksa bir öneri mi olduğu hususu değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuçta Yaltkaya‟nın ictimai kelam projesinin söz konusu dönemde ortaya atılan kelamda yenilik hareketlerinden sayılıp sayılamayacağı tartışılmıştır.

In this thesis, the renewal studies in kalam that started in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and the social kalam project of M. Şerefeddin Yaltkaya, which was included in those studies, are discussed. The search for innovations in the science of kalam in the last two centuries in the Ottoman Empire, Egypt and the Indian subcontinent has been evaluated, and the place of Yaltkaya's Social Theology project in these renewal studies has been explained. In order to deal with Yaltkaya's social theology project within the framework of the search for innovation in kalam, innovation movements in kalam were examined in the first chapter. In the second part, after giving information about the life and works of M. Şerefeddin Yaltkaya, the "Communal Kalam Project" has been tried to be explained in detail in all its aspects. The effects of the period in which he grew up on Yaltkaya, the characteristics of the staff of the Islamic Journal, where he expressed the project the most, and his works in both the Ottoman and Republican periods were mentioned about the realization of the views he expressed. Criticisms of the social kalam project, especially whether the source of sanctity is based on society, whether it is a systematic project or a suggestion, were evaluated. As a result, it has been discussed whether Yaltkaya's social theology project can be counted as one of the innovation movements in the said period.
