    An Analysis of the Relationship between University Students' Views on Distance Education and their Computer Self-Efficacy

    This study aims to examine the relationship between university students' views of distance education system and their computer self-efficacy in terms of some variables using Information Systems Success Model (ISSM) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The study is important since the studies on the distance education system made with Unified Learning Style Model (ULSM) are limited in the COVID-19 pandemic period when distance education has become widespread. The views of university students on distance education and computer self-efficacy were examined in the study in accordance with the causal-comparative design, taking into account the variables of gender, year of study and academic achievement. Then, the correlation between the Technology Acceptance Model, participants' achievement levels and computer self-efficacy was explained. 895 students attending Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Applied Sciences undergraduate program participated in the study. While gathering data, previously tested Technology Acceptance and Information Systems Success Model Integration and Computer Self-efficacy scales were used by combining the components from both models.

    The aim of the study is to measure the role of unemployment anxiety in the relationship between self-efficacy and job searching competence level of students who graduated from Necmettin Erbakan University, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Finance and Banking between 2017 and 2020. The research population consists of 328 graduates and students who are in the process of graduation (who will take a single course exam) students. SPSS package software was used during the phase of data analysis. It was determined that those with work experience had lower overall unemployment anxiety and a higher level of job search competence. A moderate negative relationship was found between general self-efficacy and general unemployment anxiety; a weak negative relationship was found between general unemployment anxiety and job search competence level; and a positive moderate relationship was found between general self-efficacy and job search competence level. In the light of the results obtained, it was seen that general self-efficacy increases the level of job search competence. In addition, general self-efficacy relieves general unemployment anxiety. General unemployment anxiety also negatively reduces the level of job search competence. In addition, based on the results of the Bootstrapp analysis, it was determined that the general unemployment concern had a partial mediating role in the relationship between general self-efficacy and job searching competence level.

    A research on the problems encountered in the collaboration between university and industry

    Industry sector needs to be in collaboration with university in order to reach the information that will contribute its performance. The university also has some expectations from such kind of collaboration such as increasing the capacity, conducting R&D, institutionalizing, making firms ready in terms of intellectual capital and providing financial benefit as well as processing data and finding an application area. Collaboration of university and industry both leads the firms to provide a competitive advantage by creating synergy and also causes set of problems. The aim of this research is to investigate the level at which the university and industry collaboration exists in Konya province, to ascertain the frequency of collaboration subjects and the problems encountered during this collaboration. According to our research that we did on 142 firms in Konya, by not being on enough level of collaborating degree, there is a positive directed linear relationship between the frequency degree collaborating with the university and the abundance of the number of employees in the institution which is the necessity of being institutional. Because of this, the collaboration in the institutional firms is often inclined to come true. Furthermore, it was set higher that the problems of the administrators whose frequency degree of collaboration with the university is high in comparison with the people whose frequency degree of collaboration is low.
