Öğe Analysis of the Influences of Parameters in the Fractional Second-Grade Fluid Dynamics(Mdpi, 2022) Yavuz, Mehmet; Sene, Ndolane; Yildiz, MustafaThis work proposes a qualitative study for the fractional second-grade fluid described by a fractional operator. The classical Caputo fractional operator is used in the investigations. The exact analytical solutions of the constructed problems for the proposed model are determined by using the Laplace transform method, which particularly includes the Laplace transform of the Caputo derivative. The impact of the used fractional operator is presented; especially, the acceleration effect is noticed in the paper. The parameters' influences are focused on the dynamics such as the Prandtl number (Pr), the Grashof numbers (Gr), and the parameter eta when the fractional-order derivative is used in modeling the second-grade fluid model. Their impacts are also analyzed from a physical point of view besides mathematical calculations. The impact of the fractional parameter alpha is also provided. Finally, it is concluded that the graphical representations support the theoretical observations of the paper.Öğe AS AN AUXILIARY VERB USING AND FUNCTION OF THE VERB AL- IN MODERN UYGHUR TURKIC(Selcuk Univ, Inst Turkish Studies, 2016) Yildiz, MustafaModern Uyghur Turkic is a rich literary language in terms of descriptive verbs which is a kind of compound verb. Not only education of humanities but also sciences that rest on skill such as physical and sportive education are paid great importance in Enderun, which trains qualified personnel that will serve in every rank in state as both soldier and ruler. Physical activities constituted an important part of education. These activities deemed necessary for bodies of the inner boys to remain fit, sportive games were embraced as the most entertaining way to perform war drills for the inner boys in Enderun. Wooden ball, archery, jerid, hunting and etc. take place among sportive activities in the palace. The objective of this study is to present information regarding educational system of Enderun and particularly sport education in there.Öğe A GENEALOGY TEXT FROM THE LAST PERIOD OF CHAGATAI TURKIC AND ITS LANGUAGE FEATURES(Selcuk Univ, Inst Turkish Studies, 2020) Yildiz, MustafaFrom the beginning of the 15th century to the first years of the 20th century, Turkic language, continued its existence under the name of Chagatai Turkic in the east and Ottoman Turkic in the west. Approximately from the first quarter of the 20th century, the formation process of modern Turkish literary language has been observed. Depending on the political stability, this process was more uninterrupted and stable in the western branch of the Turkic language; on the other hand, it resulted in the eastern branch, with the disappearance of the state power, with a localization and the deterioration of the common written language. It is possible to follow the effects of this situation on the language. In the texts between 17th and 19th centuries, it was accepted as the collapse period of Chagatai Turkic. This text which is the subject of the present study is a small genealogy from 1719. Its subject is on the pedigree of Sadr Ata, known as Baba Tukles, among the Nogais and the great ancestor of Edige. Nurullah bin 'Ubeydullah es-Siddik el-Harizmi is the author or copyist of the work. There is no information about this name in the sources. The text is registered in the Staatsbibliothek zu BerlinPreussischer Kulturbesitz library in Berlin, in the Segere'i Turki of Abu'l-Ghazi. The language of the text shows the transition feature between Chagatai Turkic and contemporary writing languages. From this perspective, it has a rich language material.Öğe Influence of Exercise on Leptin, Adiponectin and Quality of Life in Type 2 Diabetics(Galenos Yayincilik, 2015) Dede, Nesrin Dogan; Ipekci, Suleyman Hilmi; Kebapcilar, Levent; Arslan, Mihriban; Kurban, Sevil; Yildiz, Mustafa; Gonen, Mustafa SaitPurpose: This study aimed to investigate the influence of aerobic exercise on the quality of life and leptin and adiponectin levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Material and Method: Patients were randomized into two groups: aerobic exercise-training and control group. Parameters were assessed at baseline and end of the twelve-week follow-up for 60 type 2 diabetic patients who completed the program. The 36-item Short Form Health Survey was administered to the patients. Results: The exercise-training group results showed a decrease in adiponectin and leptin levels, a reduction of waist circumference and percentage of body fat (p=0.007, 0.023, 0.012 and 0.048, respectively). The leptin levels in the aerobic exercise group were positively correlated with body mass index (r=0.303, p=0.021) and percentage of body fat (r=0.371, p=0.005); they were negatively correlated with physical problems (r=-0.482; p=0.009) and pain (r=-0.540; p=0.003). Exercise led to statistically significant improvements in the SF-36 physical functioning and mental health subscales (p=0.020 and 0.023, respectively). Discussion: The association of better HbA1c, waist circumference, and percentage of body fat with improved mental and physical scores may be related to a decrease in leptin levels, despite a significant reduction in serum adiponectin levels.Öğe Meeting Report of 10th National Emergency Medicine Congress & 1st Intercontinental Emergency Medicine Congress(Aves, 2014) Dundar, Zerrin Defne; Ergin, Mehmet; Karamercan, Mehmet Akif; Satar, Salim; Girisgin, Abdullah Sadik; Yildiz, Mustafa; Cander, BasarThe 10th National Emergency Medicine Congress and the 1st Intercontinental Emergency Medicine Congress were held at Gloria Golf Resort Hotel Congress Center (Antalya, TURKEY) simultaneously between May 15 and 18, 2014. We had previously published the associates of the risk of febrile neutropenia, and this study now extends and modifies the previous model as well as tests its external validity. Methods We have recruited documented febrile neutropenia cases with solid tumors, in addition to a selected control group of cancer patients from one institution treated between 2015 and 2019. We then united our sample with our previously published original derivation group, to modify and update our previous model by logistic regression analysis. Additionally, consecutive cancer patients from 5 institutions were recruited in 2020 to test external validity of the resultant algorithm. Results A total of 4075 cycles of chemotherapy in 1282 cases were recruited in the updated, new model derivation group, and a total of 8 variables were selected for the updated algorithm. In the new external validation group, 653 cycles of chemotherapy in 624 patients were analyzed, to indicate that after cycles without prophylactic granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (GCSF) usage, the algorithm yielded a sensitivity value of 91%, specificity of 40%, and an area under curve (AUC) figure of 0.78, when a risk cutoff threshold value of >= 0.20 is chosen. This algorithm is now embedded in a web application for free clinical use. Conclusion Our algorithm identifies and quantifies the risk of febrile neutropenia in cancer patients. Further studies are required to improve this model with additional predictors.Öğe Stochastic Modeling of Three-Species Prey-Predator Model Driven by Levy Jump with Mixed Holling-II and Beddington-DeAngelis Functional Responses(Mdpi, 2023) Danane, Jaouad; Yavuz, Mehmet; Yildiz, MustafaThis study examines the dynamics of a stochastic prey-predator model using a functional response function driven by Levy noise and a mixed Holling-II and Beddington-DeAngelis functional response. The proposed model presents a computational analysis between two prey and one predator population dynamics. First, we show that the suggested model admits a unique positive solution. Second, we prove the extinction of all the studied populations, the extinction of only the predator, and the persistence of all the considered populations under several sufficient conditions. Finally, a special Runge-Kutta method for the stochastic model is illustrated and implemented in order to show the behavior of the two prey and one predator subpopulations.Öğe THE UNCOMMON USE OF THE VERB BENZE- IN THE DIVAN OF KADI BURHANEDDIN(Selcuk Univ, Inst Turkish Studies, 2015) Yildiz, MustafaOn the one hand, language named system strictly adheres to the rules and in this respect while offering a stagnant property; on the other hand, it has an ability to sustain the progress without ignoring the related rules; it is an open system to progress. It is always a natural state our encounter with innovations in such a structure. Structure of -A benze- which is the subject of our article is one of the typical examples relating to this feature of the language. Hitherto, There is a non-standard use and the meaning which we have determined that the verb of benzemek which is showing the characteristic of the being a basic verb in Turkish language. In this study, It will be emphasize new meaning and function of the verb to be gained in a given context and grammar and it will be analyzed the examples of unconventional coupling which consist of using a combination the verb benze- with the gerund -A.
