The increase in the world population and consumption power also increases the amount of consumption. Logistics activities are involved in all processes from the production of raw materials to the commercial product delivered to the end user. Parallel to these developments, energy needs and consumption are also increasing. The fact that most of the energy used is met by fossil fuels causes both the global warming problem and the health problems caused by the harmful gases that occur in energy consumption. Today's modern consumers pay attention to activities that show environmental sensitivity in all processes from the first stage of production to delivery while making purchasing decisions. Many businesses operating on a global scale have started to integrate carbon emission reduction activities into their processes. In this context, logistics service providers also renew their processes by taking into account the practices that reduce carbon emissions. Transportation, which has a large share in logistics services, is seen as the first area to work to reduce carbon emissions. Therefore, it is important to research green logistics activities and examine the potential benefits it will provide to businesses. The aim of this research is to examine the legal and quality system requirements regarding green warehouses in Turkey and to reveal the advantages of green warehouse applications for businesses. In addition, a standard and rating has been tried to be established within the framework of legal and quality systems related to green warehouse. In this framework, content analysis in the Waste Regulation, ISO 141001 and Leeds Certificate was done with reduce, reuse, recycle which are the three important elements of sustainability and with produce which is added by author and 4 different grades of green warehouse standard proposals are presented.
