GNSS systems serve many different areas. Geodetic measurements, vehicle tracking systems, tourism, agriculture, military, search and rescue operations such as field deformation measurements and GNSS systems to benefit from. GNSS technologies have also started to be used for civilian applications and have allowed careful study of side branches such as solar activities, ionosphere, troposphere. To eliminate the effect on the ionosphere layer, dual-frequency receivers are used. In the ionosphere, there are some regular, temporal and regional changes, as well as some irregular changes - daily, 27 day, seasonal, six-month, annual, 11 year. These changes can be modeled and their effects can be determined to a large extent. The tropospheric effect is divided into dry component and wet component. The dry delay is due to dry gases, while the wet delay consists of water vapor. The dry component is related to atmospheric pressure and is calculated by the law of natural gases, but it is difficult to model it due to the unevenness of the water vapor distribution in the wet component. For this reason, tropospheric models have been developed. Using these models, the effect of the troposphere on signals is reduced as much as possible. In the scope of the thesis, the amount of precipitable Water Vapor (PWV) was determined by using the tropospheric delays obtained by the Precision Point Positioning (PPP) method and these values were compared with the PWV values derived by the radiosonde that are currently as a reference. In the study, stations located in different geographical regions were selected to study the effect of climate characteristics that vary from region to region on PWV values. Rinex data were processed using CSRS-PPP software, which is a GNSS evaluation service. Evaluation procedures were carried out with the model developed for Turkey (Tm=48.55+0.80Ts), details of which are given in Mekik and Deniz (2017). As a result of the study, it was seen that PWV reaches higher values during periods of high air temperature, so the PWV values of Erzurum station are lower than the PWV values calculated for Istanbul, Izmir and Samsun stations.
