Mahremiyet Eğitimine İlişkin Sorunlar Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Özet
Mahremiyet eğitiminin informal bir eğitim alanı olması, eğitim sürecine gelişigüzel dâhil olan unsurları sorgulamayı ve mevcut sorunları tespit etmeyi gerekli kılmaktadır. Ebeveynlerin çoğunlukla toplumsal yargıları referans aldığı mahremiyet algısı onların eğitim anlayışına da yansımakta, aynı anlayışla yetişen bireyler bu zincirin bir parçası haline gelmektedir. Ebeveyn ile toplum arasındaki karşılıklı etkileşim, herhangi bir kırılma yaşamadığı sürece ezber bir mahremiyete hizmet etmektedir. Yaptığımız çalışma, çocukluk ve gençlik dönemindeki mahremiyete ilişkin yaşantıların yetişkinlik dönemine etkilerini ortaya koyarak o dönemde sunulan mahremiyet eğitiminin sorunlarını tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla 21 yetişkin ile görüşme yapılmış, kişilerin mahremiyete ilişkin geçmiş tecrübeleri şimdiki mahremiyet algısı ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın deseni olgubilimdir. İçerik analizinin kullanıldığı çalışmada 'Yetişkinlerde mahremiyet algısı, Çocukluk ve gençlik dönemindeki mahremiyete ilişkin yaşantılar, Mahremiyet eğitiminde anne ve baba, Çocukluk ve gençlik dönemindeki mahremiyete ilişkin yaşantıların yetişkinlik dönemine yansımaları" şeklinde dört ana tema oluşturulmuştur. Yetişkinlerdeki mahremiyet algısı, onların mahremiyet kavramına yüklediği anlam, mahremiyete aykırı durum ve davranışlardan kaçınma sebepleri, mahremiyet kapsamına aldığı alanlar ve mahremiyet ihlaline verdiği tepkiler üzerinden belirlenmiştir. Çocukluk ve gençlik dönemindeki mahremiyete ilişkin tecrübeler, o dönemde merak edilen mahremiyete ilişkin konular, mahremiyete ilişkin konuların paylaşıldığı kişiler, mahremiyet ihlaline verilen tepkiler, mahremiyet anlayışını şekillendiren unsurlar ile ortaya konulmuştur. Mahremiyet eğitiminde anne/babanın rolünü anlamak üzere anne/babanın eğitim sürecine dâhil ettiği konular, anne/babadan gizlenen konular, anne/babada gözlenen olumlu/olumsuz davranışlar ve anne/babanın eğitim anlayışını etkileyen hususlar tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanında, çocukluk ve gençlik dönemindeki mahremiyete ilişkin tecrübelerin yetişkinlik döneminde eş seçimi, çocuk eğitimi, eşler arası ilişki, ebeveyn/çocuk ilişkisi, karşı cinsle ilişki, sosyal ilişki, cinsel yaşam ve giyinme/örtünme davranışı üzerinde etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
A field of informal education, the privacy education needs to be searched for the elements and the problems shaping it. Mostly shaped bu the social references, the privacy perception of the parents reflects on their educational views and the children educated by the same view sustain this cycle. The interaction between the parents and the society serves to a memorized privacy unless the cycle is broken. This study aims to reveal the problems of the privacy education by the effects of the privacy education in the childhood and adolescence on the adulthood. The interviews were conducted with 21 adults. Their past experiences of privacy were related with their current perception of privacy. In the study, the qualitative research method and the phenomenological research design were applied. The data about were analysed with the content analysis method and categorised in four main themes: The perception of privacy in adults, the experiences of privacy in the childhood and the adolescence, the role of parent in the privacy education, the effects of the past experiences of privacy on the adulthood. The data about the the perception of the privacy of the adult contains the meaning of the privacy, the reasons for avoiding from private behaviours, the private matters and the reaction to the privacy violation. The experiences of privacy in the childhood and adolescence include the curiosity on the private matters, the ones talking about the private matters, the reaction to the privacy violation, the figures shaping the perception of privacy. The role of parent in the privacye ducation is discussed with the data about the educational matters in the family, these cretmatters in the family, the favorable/infavorablebehaviours of parent, the effective elements on the educational view of the parents. The findings of the study indicate that the past experiences on the privacy in the childhood and the adolescence have an impact on the mate selection, the upbringing, the spousal relations, the family relationship, the relation with the opposite sex, the social relation, the sex life and the dressing style of the adults.
