With the increasing world population, the need for food is increasing day by day. At the same time, the increase in the amount of water used in personal use, industrial and agricultural production and the climate problem in many parts of the world have created a global water problem. Many studies have been carried out to prevent wastage of water resources and to use water efficiently, and studies continue on this subject. Unconscious irrigation in agriculture and unpredictability of the plant's wate r needs cause both water wastage and yield losses. At the same time, the farmer's inability to predict the amount of fertilization and spraying damages the soil and the environment as well as the plant. Innovative ideas and technologies are needed to meet these requirements, increase efficiency and better use water resources. One of the methods that can meet these needs is digitalization in agriculture. Digital farming methods; It will be effective in increasing productivity, reducing workforce, environment al pollution, water waste and chemicals used in agricultural struggle. Digital agriculture is the application of communication technologies to the modern agriculture industry to meet these needs and to provide food needs in a sustainable way. In this thesis study, two separate greenhouse environments were created. In the first of these, traditional farming methods were applied. In the second, the existing environmental data (soil moisture, ambient temperature, ambient humidity and ambient light) were collected by the sensors and transferred to the farm management system and necessary actions were taken by the actuators. Thus, digital farming methods have been applied by using a sensor and actuator network that accurately directs the data packets and provides multiple communications. A gateway is established to exchange data over the network between the sensor and actuator nodes and the management system. Instant and hourly data are recorded in the database created through the gateway. If the instantaneous value transferred to the database is below the threshold value, automatic irrigation was performed by the actuator. The amount of water used was recorded in the database. In addition, with the designed mobile application, it is possible to monitor instantaneous media data from the database and control the actuator. As a result, the efficiency of the two irrigation methods was compared and it was seen that the wireless network design was more efficient. The collected data were analyzed with classification and estimation algorithms through WEKA and Minitab programs. The effect of environmental data on water consumption and plant growth was transformed into a mathematical equation. Thus, the amount of water to be used for longer periods and the estimation of plant growth can be provided.
