dc.description.abstractSpoon Tune which is a form of Turkish Folk Music, although a widespread understanding of the music, has been maintained the continuity of the people as a means of entertainment and has reached up to the present day although conservatism and Mevlevi sect in Konya. This study provided a general information about the culture of Konya and spoon tunes are examinated in terms of rhythmic pattern, scala and melodic pattern. The data were obtained from in descriptive literature. 10 notes of Konya folk songs selected from the TRT music office. The most of the folk songs were determined that they were indiscrepancy for the scala. The most of the folk songs were specified as different scalas, however; they were named in a single melodic pattern. Current melodic pattern classification hasn't been enough for folk songs. Further sudies about Spoon Tune have needed for classification in features of Turkish Folk Music.en_US
