dc.description.abstractStem cell treatments have become one of the most studied area in recent years and and it is seen that they will take the place of organ transplants in the future. Adipose tissue derived stem cells are also widely used by other branches outside of Plastic Surgery as they can easily be obtained in large quantities and effective as much as haemopoetic stem cells. Publications related to soft tissue augmentation, wound healing, and tissue engineering have been reported in plastic surgery practice. However, there are still some question marks about their reliability and lack of standardization for obtaining and using stem cells. The purpose of this review is to give knowledge about the concept of fat tissue derived stem cells, their properties, their mechanisms, also their uses in Plastic Surgery and discuss reliability of them.en_US
