Bireyleri rekreasyonel amaçlı egzersize motive eden faktörlerin incelenmesi
(2019) Çuhadar, Abdullah; Er, Yusuf; Demirel, Mehmet; Harmandar Demirel, Duygu

Examination of the Relationship between the University Students' Course-Leisure Conflict and Curiosity
(Lahore Medical & Dental Coll, 2021) Er, Yusuf; Cuhadar, Abdullah; Demirel, Mehmet; Kaya, Alper; Aksu, Hasan Suat
Background: Improving learning and instilling an investigative personality in the student is also one of the main elements of education Therefore, a relationship has been established between curiosity and inquisitiveness, and it can be seen that at the root of this relationship, inquisitiveness plays a differentiating role in the learning of both young people and children. Aim: This study examines the relationship between university students' course-leisure conflict and curiosity levels based on different variables. Methods: The sample group was determined through convenience sampling and consists of 764 university students, including 406 female and 358 male participants. Results: In the study, Curiosity Scale and Lesson Leisure Conflict Scale were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data obtained in the study, percentage and frequency were used to determine the distribution of the personal information of the participants, and the values of the data were checked with the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and the Shapiro test to determine whether the data showed a normal distribution. As a result, it was determined that the data did not have a normal distribution and thus showed a Non-Parametric distribution. Therefore, apart from descriptive statistical models, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis test, and correlation analysis methods were used in the statistical analysis of the data. Conclusion: According to the findings, there was a significant difference in the variables of Gender, Age, and Level of Welfare of the curiosity scale of the participants, and a significant difference was found only according to the Level of Welfare variable in the course-leisure conflict scale. A significant positive correlation was found between the participants' curiosity levels and course-leisure conflict scores. Result: It was concluded that the curiosity levels of the participants and the course-leisure conflict scale differed according to some variables, and the curiosity levels of the participants affected the course-leisure conflicts.

Investigation of Leisure Management Skills and Leisure Boredom in University Students in Terms of Different Variables
(Int Journal Applied Exercise Physiology, 2020) Er, Yusuf; Demirel, Mehmet; Cuhadar, Abdullah
The aim of the study is to examine leisure time skills and leisure problems of university students in terms of different variables. The sample group of the study consists of a total of 545 university students, 335 women (61.5%) and 210 men (38.5%), via the convenience sampling method and on a voluntary basis. The Free Time Management Scale (BZYO) developed by Wang, Kao, Huan and Wu (2011) and adapted into Turkish by Akgul and Karakucuk (2015) and The Leisure Boredom Scale developed by Iso-Ahola and Weissinger (1990) to determine the recreational activities of the participants and their boredom levels and translated into Turkish by Soylu and Siyez (2014) were used in the study. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistical methods such as percentage and frequency were applied to determine the distribution of the personal information of the participants, and the skewness and kurtosis values of the data were checked to determine whether the data showed a normal distribution and the data were found to comply with the parametric test conditions. Accordingly, besides descriptive statistical models, t-test, Anova, Tukey HSD multiple comparison test, which is applied to determine from which groups the significant difference arises, and correlation test analysis methods were used to test the relationship between leisure time management and boredom (a = 0.05). As a result, it was determined that there was a significant difference in the scheduling sub-dimension according to gender in the leisure time management, while there was a significant difference between leisure time boredom and leisure boredom in terms of age.
