    Islamophobia in modern India since establishment

    Since the emergence of Hindu nationalism during the formation of independence, new phenomena noticed in the life of the Muslim community have become the subject of close attention and scrutiny, which has been greatly aggravated by the recent rise of BJP nationalist rulers to power. The focus of the study is the inter-religious relations in India, especially the marginalization of Muslims within the framework of Islamophobia in Indian domestic politics. The significance of this thesis is the need for a comprehensive study of Islamophobic manifestations with the growth of hostility towards Muslims in modern India. The research aims to find the reasons for the rise and activation of antiMuslim sentiment. The study aims to make a comprehensive political analysis and evaluate the role of Islam in modern society through historical events and Indian modernization. I also aim to identify the preconditions and future effects of anti-Islamism in modern India through the policies of the officials of the Bharatiya Janata Party led by Narendra Modi and the Hindu nationalist organization Sangh Parivar. I made a historical, political, cultural, chronological and comparative systemic analysis of the chosen topic to consider the interdisciplinary projections from national, regional and international perspectives. Methodologically, besides statistical data, I examined studies in Russian, Turkish and English languages. So I have used primary documents, scientific literature, publications in print and electronic media.
