dc.description.abstractBölgesel kalkınma kavramı, 1950'lerde ortaya çıkan kalkınma ekonomisi ile birlikte önem kazanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, bölgesel kalkınma plan ve politikalarda yer almaya başlamıştır. Bölgesel değişim ve bölgesel kalkınmanın dinamikleri ile birlikte dünyanın değişen koşulları, bölgesel kalkınma politikalarının sürekli değişmesine neden olmaktadır. Birçok ülkede başlıca ekonomi politikaları arasında yer alan bölgesel kalkınma politikaları giderek daha fazla önem kazanmakta ve temel çalışma alanı olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Günümüzde bölgesel kalkınma açısından turizm sektörü önemli sektörler arasında yer almaktadır. Turizmin yoğunlaştığı bölgelerde istihdam ve yatırımlar da önemli bir artış gözlemlenmektedir. Turizm sektörü, bölgesel kalkınma, kaynakların etkin ve verimli kullanımı konusunda önemli bir yere sahiptir. Özellikle bölgelerarası gelişme düzeyleri arasındaki farkların, dengesizliklerin giderilmesinde ve diğer sektörler açısından yeterli imkâna sahip olmayan fakat turizm potansiyeline sahip olan bölgelerde turizm sektörünün gelişmesi bölgesel kalkınma açısından önemlidir. Turizm sektörünün taşıdığı önem, sektörün bölgesel kalkınmada bir politika aracı olarak kullanıldığını göstermektedir. Yapmış olduğumuz bu çalışmanın amacı; inanç, kültür ve diğer alternatif turizm imkânlarına sahip olan Konya'nın turizm potansiyelinin, turizm sektörünün Konya'nın kalkınmasındaki yerini tespit etmeye çalışmaktır. Araştırmada veri toplama tekniği olarak soru formu yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Soru formu Konya da ikamet eden 480 bireye uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilen SPSS programında analiz edilmiş, sonuçlar tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda Konya'nın bölgesel kalkınmasında turizmin etkisinin olduğu savunulabilir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe concept of regional development has gained importance with the development economy which emerged in the 1950s. In this respect, it has begun to take part in regional development plans and policies. The changing conditions of the world together with the dynamics of regional change and regional development cause the regional development policies to change continuously. Regional development policies, which are among the main economic policies in many countries, are becoming more and more important and considered as the main field of study. Today, tourism sector is one of the important sectors in terms of regional development. A significant increase in employment and investments in the regions where tourism is concentrated is monitored. Tourism sector and regional development has an important place in the efficient and productive use of resources. The development of the tourism sector is important in terms of regional development, especially in regions where interregional development levels differ, imbalances are not sufficient and other sectors do not have sufficient opportunity but have tourism potential. The importance of the tourism sector shows that the sector is used as a policy tool in regional development. The aim of this study is to determine the tourism potential of Konya, which has faith, culture and other alternative tourism opportunities, and the place of tourism sector in the development of Konya. In the research, questionnaire method was used as data collection technique. The questionnaire was applied to 480 individuals residing in Konya. The results obtained were analyzed in SPSS program and the results are presented in tables. As a result of the findings, it can be argued that tourism has an impact on the regional development of Konya.en_US
