Öğretmen Adaylarının Yansıtıcı Düşünme Eğilimleri ve Mesleğe Yönelik Tutumları

Özet
Bu araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimleri ile mesleğe yönelik tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede, 1. Öğretmen adaylarının yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimleri ve mesleğe yönelik tutumları ne düzeydedir? 2. Öğretmen adaylarının yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimleri cinsiyete göre farklılaşmakta mıdır? 3. Öğretmen adaylarının yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimleri bölümlere göre farklılaşmakta mıdır? 4. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik tutumları cinsiyete göre farklılaşmakta mıdır? 5. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik tutumları bölümlere göre farklılaşmakta mıdır? 6. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik tutumları ile yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimleri arasında bir ilişki var mıdır? sorularına yanıt aranmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma, 2010-2011 bahar döneminde genel ve ilişkisel tarama modelleri kullanılarak Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Ahmet Keleşoğlu Eğitim Fakültesinde okuyan son sınıf öğrencilerinden elde edilen verilerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular, öğretmen adaylarının yansıtıcı düşünme eğiliminde olduklarını göstermektedir. Bununla birlikte kızların yansıtıcı düşünme eğililiminde erkeklere göre daha yüksek puanlar adıkları belirlenmiştir. Yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimlerinin bölümlere göre farklılaştığı da araştırmanın diğer sonuçları arasındadır. Ayrıca araştırma sonunda öğrencilerin tutum puanlarının ortalama düzeyde olduğu, tutum puanları ile yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimleri arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the correlation between current tendency towards reflective thinking of preservice teachers and their attitudes toward teaching profession. For the examination of the correlation, the answers of the following questions are analysed. 1. What is the level of preservice teachers' tendency towards reflective thinking and attitudes toward teaching profession? 2.Is gender a determinant for the tendency towards reflective thinking? 3. Is gender a determinant for the attitudes towards the teaching profession? 4. Does the field of study affect the tendency towards reflective thinking? 5. Does the field of study affect the attitudes toward teaching profession? 6. Is there any correlation between the current tendency of teacher candidates towards reflective thinking and their attitudes toward teaching profession? In this research, the descriptive model is used for the relational survey and general survey. The study was performed with the teacher candidates, i.e. the senior students of Necmettin Erbakan University Ahmet Kelesoglu Education Faculty in 2010-2011 spring semester. At the end of the research it is seen that preservice teachers have reflective thinking tendency. The scores of the reflective thinking tendencies of the female preservice teachers towards the male preservice teachers were at a relatively high. According to the other research results reflective thinking tendencies were differentiate in respect to the branches. Additionally it is seen that attitude scores of preservice teachers were average level and there is meaningful correlation between reflective tendencies and attitudes toward teaching profession.
