Son
bölümde ise Sonuç başlığı altında incelemiş olduğumuz 18 eserin ahşap sanatında
kullanılan tekniklerin, formların ve süsleme özellikleri esas alınarak önemi
vurgulanmıştır. Metnimizin son kısmında Bibliyografya, Fotoğraf Listesi, Çizimler
Listesi Çizimler ve Değerlendirme Tabloları bulunmaktadır.
In our thesis study titled “Wooden Door Wings Connected to House Architecture Found in Beysehir Time Travel Shop”, firstly, the history of wood art and the techniques used were included. The works we analyzed were examined in terms of their periods, techniques, and ornamentation properties, and their places in wood art were tried to be emphasized. Throughout history, human beings have produced works with different methods in order to live comfortably and meet their needs. These works produced have been used as an ornamentation factor over time. When we look at the historical process of wood engraving art, the works mostly produced based on needs have developed in architecture, home items, and various belongings in parallel with ornamentation gaining importance and have reached present times. While some products still carry the properties of the ancient works, some have reached today by undergoing many changes. The door wings that we considered as movable cultural heritage have been brought to the shop from different cities. Although some of the cities from which the doors were bought are known, there is unfortunately no information about the craftsmen who made them and their date and place of production. Theses and research on this topic were reviewed, and an attempt was made to date these works according to their ornamentation and techniques. In this context, it is estimated that 18 works were produced starting from the late 18th century throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. It was determined that different techniques were used in the 18 works that were analyzed. The techniques such as nailing, surface engraving, scraping,Edirnekari (painting), gluing, and beating were used in combination or as the singletechnique in some works. It was determined that the nailing techniques was used inall works. It was seen that the material used was mostly wood, and materials such asmetal and cloth were also used. Ornamentation motifs used in the works were motifswith plant, geometrical figures and objects. Rumi patterns, palmette, naturalist plants placed in vases, “C” curves, and large branches and leaves are seen on thedoor wings. Out of the 18 works, 14 have one wing, and four have double wings. There is not much damage on the works, but in some works, there are nailing cracksand paint removal in painted works, and the keys were lost. Our study consisted of five parts as Introduction, Wood Art, Wooden Door Wings in Beysehir Time Travel Shop, Evaluation, and Conclusion. In the first part of our study, under the main heading of “Introduction”, there are the sub-headings of “The Definition, Purpose, and Limitations of the Subject”, “Method”, and “Sources Used.” In the second part of the study, under the main heading of “Wood Art”, there are the subheadings of the history, development, and the techniques of wood art, and the development of the door. In the third part of our study, which was named as “Wooden Door Wings in Beysehir Time Travel Shop”, the 18 works that we examined within the scope of the study were discussed in detail and presented with photos and drawings. The works about which there was no information regarding the date of production were dated by performing style critique. The works included in the study were classified according to their date of production. Under the heading of “Evaluation”, which constituted the fourth part of the study, materials, techniques, forms, and ornamentation were discussed. In the final part, which was the “Conclusion” part of the study, the techniques, forms, and ornamentation properties used in the wood art of the 18 works we examined were analyzed, and their importance was emphasized. In the last part of the study, Bibliography, Photos List, Drawings List, Drawings, and Evaluation Tables were included.
