Özet
Yazma eser kütüphanelerinde birçok örneklerini bulabileceğimiz mecmualar, sosyal
bilimlerin çeşitli dallarında kaynak olarak kullanılabilecek önemli eserlerdir. Özellikle edebiyat ve
kültür tarihçiliği açısından önem arz eden bu eserler her ne kadar kişisel zevklere göre derlenmiş
olsalar da çeşitli yönlerden araştırmacılara birtakım imkânlar da sunmaktadırlar. Mecmualar;
biyografik kaynaklarda kendine yer bulamayan şair yahut müelliflerin tespiti, divanlara veya manzum mensur telif eserlere girmemiş manzume veya metinlerin tespiti, devrin edebî zevkinin tespiti, devrin
zihniyetinin tespiti, dönemin tarihi, sosyal ve ekonomik hayatı vb. çeşitli alanlarda araştırmacılar için
değerli bilgiler ihtiva etmektedir. Bu düşüncelerle İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi (İBB) Atatürk
Kitaplığı’nda BEL Yz K0633 demirbaş numarasıyla kayıtlı olan mecmuanın incelendiği bu çalışma
ile mecmua literatürüne ve geleneğine katkı sağlamak amaçlanmaktadır. Manzum nasihatnameler,
çeşitli şiir parçaları, latifeler, manzum–mensur hikâyeler, alegorik nakiller ve faydalı olduğu
düşünülen birtakım bilgilerin kaydedildiği söz konusu mecmuayı çeşitli yönlerden ele aldık.
Çalışmamıza konu olan BEL Yz K0633 numaralı mecmua barındırdığı tarih kayıtları ile
bizlere bazı olanaklar sunmaktadır. Mecmua, H. 10 Ramazan 1126/M. 19 Eylül 1714 – H. 1 Şaban
1152/M. 3 Kasım 1739 tarih aralığında derlenmiştir. Yirmi beş yıllık bir sürede derlenen mecmua 18.
yüzyıl Osmanlı insanının okuma ve yazma sıklığını göstermesi açısından dikkate değerdir. Muhtevası
bakımında çok zengin olan ve çeşitli türdeki metinler ihtiva eden mecmuadaki bu seçimler, bahse
konu mecmuanın derleyicisinin kişisel zevklerini yansıtsa da günlük mahiyetindeki bu derlemeden hareketle bazı genel çıkarımlar yapılabilir. Mecmuadaki tarihler 18. yüzyıl insanının kış aylarında
daha çok okuyup yazdığına işaret etmektedir. Ayrıca elimizdeki mecmua, bir Osmanlı insanının
okuma ve yazma çeşitliliğini de göstermesi açısından önemlidir. Mecmuadan edindiğimiz bilgilere
göre bir 18. yüzyıl insanı fıkralar, nasihatname türündeki manzumeler, aşk manzumeleri, halk
hikâyeleri, alegorik metinler ve manzum falnâmelere ilgi duymaktadır.
Periodical (mecmua), of which we can find numerous examples in manuscript libraries, are important works that can be used as a resource in various branches of social sciences. These works, which are especially important in terms of literature and cultural historiography, although they are compiled according to personal tastes, they also offer some opportunities to researchers from various aspects. These works are; determination of poets or authors who could not find a place for themselves in biographical sources, determination of verses or texts that were not included in divans or verse prose copyrighted works, determination of the literary taste of the period, determination of the mentality of the period, the history, social and economic life of the period, etc. It contains valuable information for researchers in various fields such as With these thoughts, it is aimed to contribute to the journal literature and tradition with this study, which examines the journal registered with the fixture number BEL Yz K0633 in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Ataturk Library. We discussed the aforementioned periodical (mecmua) from various aspects, in which verse advice, various pieces of poetry, jokes, verse-prose stories, allegorical transmissions and some useful information were recorded. The periodical (mecmua) numbered BEL Yz K0633, which is the subject of our study, offers us some opportunities with its historical records. The periodical (mecmua) was compiled between 19 September 1714 – 3 November 1739. The periodical (mecmua), which was compiled over a period of twenty-five years, is noteworthy in terms of showing the reading and writing frequency of the 18th century Ottoman people. Although these selections in the magazine, which is very rich in content and contains various types of texts, reflect the personal tastes of the compiler of the periodical (mecmua) in question, some general inferences can be made from this compilation in the form of a diary. The dates in the journal indicate that the people of the 18th century read and wrote more during the winter months. In addition, the periodical (mecmua) we have is important in terms of showing the diversity of reading and writing an Ottoman person. According to the information we have obtained from the journal, an 18th century person is interested in anecdotes, advice type poems, love poems, folk tales, allegorical texts and verse falnâmes.
