dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada Türk edebiyatının önemli yazarlarından Sevinç Çokum'un hikâye ve romanlarında "Öteki" kavramı incelenmiştir. Çalışma, kolaylık sağlaması açısından üç bölümde ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde Sevinç Çokum'un hayatı, sanatı ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde çalışmanın temelini belirleyen "öteki" ve "ötekileştirme" kavramları açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır ve tezin yönünü belirleme açısından bilgi verilmiştir. Kavramları daha iyi algılayabilmek adına bunlarla ilişkili olan önyargı, çok-kültürlülük, ulusal kimlik, ulus devlet, azınlık ve etnik grup gibi başka unsurlara da yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın asıl kısmını, hikâye ve romanlardan yapılan alıntılara yer verilen üçüncü bölüm oluşturmaktadır. Burada eserlerde "öteki" tespit edilirken ve ötekileştirmenin de boyutları ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, notion of other is examined in stories and novels of Sevinc Cokum who is one of the important writers in Turkish Literature. This study is handled in three chapters to provide ease of analysing. In the first chapter, information about life, art and works of Sevinc Cokum is given. In the second chapter, we give information about notion of "other" and "othering" which is the basis of the study in terms of determining the direction of the thesis. For understanding concept better, other notions such as prejudice, national identity, multiculturalism, nation-state, minority and ethnic group have been also included in the study. The main part of the study is the third chapter that is made quotation from stories and novels. Here, "other" and the dimensions of "othering" are tried to reveal in the works.en_US
