dc.description.abstractYama testi hem allerjik kontakt dermatit tanısının konulması hem de nedenlerin ortaya çıkarılarak hastalığın önlenmesi ve hastanın bilgilendirilmesi açılarından değerli bir testtir. Çalışmamızda, bölgemizde kontakt dermatitli hastaların yama testi sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dermatoloji Anabilim Dalı'na Kasım 2001- Ağustos 2002 tarihleri arasında başvuran, dermatolojik muayenesi kontakt dermatitle uyumlu olan 100 hastaya yama testi uygulanmıştır. Hastaların yaşı 8-72 yıl (ortalama 31.1) arasında değişiyordu. Hastaların 34'ü erkek (%34) ve 66'sı kadın (%66) idi. Testler 48. saatte açılarak, 48. ve 96. saattlerde değerlendirildi. 46 hastada 1 veya daha fazla allerjene karşı pozitif reaksiyon görüldü. Bunların 30'u (%45.4) kadın ve 16'sı (%47) erkekti. 54 hastada herhangi bir allerjene karşı pozitif reaksiyon görülmedi. Nikel sülfat (%20), potasyum dikromat (%11) ve kobalt klorit (%9) en sık pozitif reaksiyon veren allerjenlerdi. 25 kişiden oluşan kontrol grubunun %24'ünde yama testi pozitif olarak bulundu. Sonuç olarak allerjik kontakt dermatitli hastalarda mutlaka yama testi yapılması ve bölgesel allerj enlerin düzenlenmesi gerektiği kanısına vardık.en_US
dc.description.abstractPatch testing is valuable in the diagnosis of allergic contact dermatitis as well as in determining the causative agent and thus is helpful in prevention of the disease and also provides information for the patient. The aim of this study was to evaluate the patch test results of patients with contact dermatitis in our region. In this study, patch tests were applied to 100 patients who were examined in Selçuk University Hospital, Department of Dermatology, between November 2001 and August 2002, and whose dermatologic manifestations were in accordance with contact dermatitis. The ages of the patients were between 8-72 years (mean age 31.1 years); 34 of them were men (%34), and 66 (%66) were women. The tests were opened at 48 th hour and read on 48 th and 96 th hours. One or more positive reactions were observed in 46 patients. Of these, 30 (%45.4) were women and 16 (%47.0) were men. There was no reactions in 54 patients. Nickel sulphate (%20), potassium dichromate (%11 ) and cobalt chloride (%9 ) were the most often allergens reacted. Patch test were found positive in %24 of the control group consisting of 25 patients. As a result, patients with allergic contact dermatitis require a patch testing as well as re-arrange partial allergy series.en_US
